What you have to know before entering AMRITA.

I did not want my course to be as complex as computer engineering. Also bca can provide for a vast varieties of job fields that we can go into. We could either opt for a completely coding oriented or non coding oriented job. But the course cant always offer you a job as there are students of cse who are always willing to take your job . Only with the help of mca can a bca student compete with cse. Most of the time bca students go jobless. But with the right mentoring and studying we will be able to place a job with ease.

I myself have not been in any of the internship programs. But there is a lot of internship opportunities in the college. My friends have done some internships. They provide 10 course credits for 1 intership done which is a great thing. Also you get a lot of exposure as well as could understand work rules or industry related things.

I would say do mca after bca. But the college also provides placement. A lot of students were able to get placed. There are students who got employed in google as well as rockstar games. I am going for the college placements and if i get placed ill do the job along with doing mca as a distant course. Or else ill do my mca from abroad

If you are a bca student, then you will have your fee split into three categories according to the fee slab you are in. The fee slab is determined by the level of scholarship you get after writing the college entrance exam. The fee slab goes as follow: 1st slab - 20000 rupees per sem 2nd slab - 45000 rupees per sem 3rd slab - 67000 rupees per sem Management slab is also available which goes upto 80000 rupees per sem. I am currently at 2nd slab and pay 45000 per sem. I have other friends who study the course at 67k as well as 20k per sem. There is a caution deposit which is charged at 3000 rupees once you are placed in the college. The college bus fee varies according to the distance the bus travels to drop you at your location. My friend pays around 18000 rupees per sem to avail the college bus facilities.

The infrastructure of the college is very great. The aesthetics of the college is very nice. The mesmerizing architecture enhances the students feel soothed. There are many clubs in the college. Namely bios. There are other cultural clubs too.

I have not applied for any other colleges. The certificate value that this institution holds is very high. The studying environment as well as the educational aesthetics of the college holds a great value . The experience and exposure we get from this institution cannot be given by any other. The programs of the college including vidyut is really great. The admission experience was really great as well as scary. The process went smooth. We have to register for the entrance exam which is actually the first step. After that youll be able to get placed for the exam in your nearest exam centre. after the exam you'll get your mails regarding the entrance. That is all.

There are many faculties who are ready to teach you more and more, but there are also faculties who are there to simply teach rather than connecting with the students. I have once got scolded for asking a doubt. The faculty that scolded me was from the commerce department. A simple doubt of me turned into a big hassle from him. Some of them cant even stand seeing a student laughing. Also if a girl and a boy walks together then there will be a lot of suspicion as well as problems for the faculties side. There are 2 sets of exams happening in every sem. The midterm as well as the end sem exam. The midterm is usually around 50 marks whereas the end sem is for about 100. The marks you score in the midterm will be converted to out of 30. The internal is 70/30. 30 marks will be taken from the end sem exam and 70 marks will be taken from the midterm as well as the internal marks you get. So the course marks will be totally out of 100 . The marks you get here Determines the grade you get. O grade is the highest grade you can get.

Not much. The night life is real bad. The place where the college is placed is a remote area. The people outside the campus is real backward. Food is not really good. But the expenses of the food are really high too .the college hostels provide really bad food. Also the students have to get back into hostel around 9 for boys. But for girls its even worse. They have to get back into hostel before 5 in the noon . The classes itself will only be over by 5.
