My Experience at SJCEM

i have been paying upto 1.25 lakhs every year for the past 4 years . it includes of all the fess like tution fees admission fees sports fees etc , alot of my batchmates pays significantly low mout of feee dut to thier caste . they pay some what upto 4k to 30k based on thier caste backgroud the college is eligble for government mahaDBT scholarships, the scholarship benefits varys by the student economic and religious backgroud but catholic minorities receive about 50k from scholarship and ebc st sc get upto 60k

every year the sjcem college host various fests inculding the main fest called " prasang" it has a good cultural valuee as our college has varoius types of students from different culture the library is pretty good and very well managed its quite and clean and one can find all the necessary books the classrooms and big and spacious allowing students to sit and learn comfortably with a projector and wifi acess SJCEM has alot of social media pages to spread awareness about the events and hackatons which takes place and to keep the students engaged

i choose sjcem over other colleges for various reasons i applied to different engineering colleges and got selected in some , but this is was the best prefernce for me due to personal and travelling reasons the mid rage fees also played a vital role the admission pprocess at sjcem was relatiely straightforward , the eligible criteria was same as per other applied colleges overall the admission process was smooth and helpfull staff

the faculty to student ratio at SJCEM in not that ideal, leading to a less persnalized learning expereince , the faculty members are often perceived as unapproachable , which affects the overall student faculty relationship among the faculty , i found few members commendable, particularly rashmi maam and sunny sir also ajay sir because they were knowledgeable and supportive , however there were some members i did not appreciate, in terms of examination , there are total of 8 semesters with 5 subjects each semester . the exams can be quite challenging

there is no gym but a indoor games room in the engineering department which has carrom table tennis and chess the room is huge and cool the college has a canteen which offers various types of choices from north indian to south indian food there are various other hangout spots outside college campus like hashtag cafe and devi krupa hotel which is authentic old skool marathi food court which serves delicious food
