Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was extremely thorough for someone who wants to get into investing and the financial markets in India this is a must-to-do course. I believe it needed more mathematical knowledge integrated into the course as in 6 semesters only 1 semester had maths involved in it.
Internships Opportunities
With all the big companies and your top 5, Like KPMG, Deloitte, etc. available. Internships were easily available with the help of the proffessors and teachers. It was very well managed and open to all
Placement Experience
Placements were top tier. We had companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PWC and all the big names that were available for us to sit for. I had applied to 2 companies and got into one called media.net - an ad tech company
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise I have paid 120,000 rs It's dividied into 6 semesters, with each semester fees being 60,000 Other courses had more or less the same fees Did not apply for any scholarship but you do need at least 85% to be eligible for this course
Campus Life
The campus is fantastic, I believe one of the best in Mumbai. The library is vast, the canteen is even huge and all kinds of cuisines are available. All sports facilities available from, swimming to badminton.
Admission
I had applied to NMIMS for their BMM course however, didn't clear the entrance and thus opted for BFM in Mithibai. BMM included more management and business knowledge that could be used across industries whereas BFM was very limited to financial markets.
Faculty
5:60 was the ratio of proffessors to students. Mandar & Jason sir were starts of the show There weren't any teachers we didn't like as such but we enjoyed the overall experience and the way of teaching of proffessors
Night Life
The nightlife is great as the college is located in the centre and has connectivity towards the south and the north side of Bombay. You can easily reach Bandra the hub of Bombay and even Andheri in just 20 mins away.
