What Students Say

Likes

Sports facility is very good , there are coaches for each sports
You will get good friends and will make memorable memory
It is a green campus unlike other parts of banaras

Dislikes

Girls to boy ratio is less although there is girls quota
Infrastructure is very poor it need to be improved
It is not a closed campus, so security reasons

Course Curriculum Overview

Basically , I choose this course due to my JEE Advanced rank, for my rank this college was best, courses are well structured, but some courses should be dropped as it is just a waste of time such as course of manufacturing practices.

Class Size: 127Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution Fees is 100000 per semester There is caution fees , registrantion fees, library fees and other fees which together come abot to be almost Rs. 7000 . This fees structure is for Indian students only.

Campus Life

There are many fests held in our college, such as technex, codefest etc. The books in library are mostly related to the courses and there are some regular magazines. Classrooms have greenboard with projector and ACs are needed to be installed.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are provided through college only, where they take some minimal charges . Mess are private they charge 15000 per semester for food, quality of food is average although some canteens are good, but you have to pay for it.

Hostel Fee: INR 70000 per year

Admission

We have to qualify from JEE Mains to give JEE Advanced , if we clear the cutoff we will get admission in IIT. So from my JEE Advanced rank this was the best college and course I could get. I was ill so I couldn't make to other college.

Faculty

Faculties are good, they teach in english language. There are teaching assitans also who help you in lab and solving tutorials. There are some faculties who give relaxation on attendance and importance to studies.

Night Life

Students of first year are not allowed to go outside the hostel at night, they should come before 10 pm. So night is mostly inside our hostel , where we play something like UNO or other games and enjoy with our friends.

Placement Experience:

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

Placement Experience:

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. There are many company like TCS, L&T, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, IBM and many more visited our college. If you have CGPA greater than 7 then you are eligible for maximum placement drive. My plan is to get government job.

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

I choose iit bhu because of iit tag string mining dept and most imp the campus life which felt better than other options i have . I have options of few iits like iit dhanbad and all but iit bhu stood out the most from all other iits in terms of everyaspect as it has strong placements records and aluminia base with lots of supported startups.
