- The structure of course curriculum is designed as per the current requirement of the market and practical life rather than just focusing on the bookish knowledge, the university has designed a top notch syllabus making it different from all others.
- The structure of semester exams i.e FA means Formative Assessment which primarily focuses on practical execution on what we have learned in all the subjects as FA contains 50% and the SA i.e Summative Assessment which is a theory paper i.e 50%
- The faculty makes every lecture very engaging by conducting various interesting activities based on the syllabus and makes each session very interactive
Dislikes
- The college time is much hectic i.e of 8 hours (9:00 am to 5:10 pm) Monday to Friday and alternative saturday (10:30-2:00)
- Same teacher 's lecture for 3-4 hrs also makes us feel exhausted
- As the university is under construction so we don't have lift facility that we have to daily climb up 5 story building
Course Curriculum Overview
As the bcom courses are available everywhere, but the uniqueness in this particular course is that it specialises in the Financial Markets and this particular course along with practical approach is rarely available also that in tier 3 city with CFA and CA qualified faculties. That factor make me to choose this Course. The course is all based on practical knowledge and execution the curriculum is designed in such a way. Frequency of the FA i.e formative assessment is every month and SA Summative Assessment in every 3-4 months and the difficulty level is moderate.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly detail structure of the course Bcom in Financial Markets is 50000/year means for 2 semesters. In the First year they do provide scholarship on the basis of 12th grades and not on the basis of reservation of the caste as maintaining the equality amongst all. For the students who got scholarship Scoring more than 90% getting 35-25k scholarship
Campus Life
As we are the first batch of our University but yet also they are organising nice events and annual functions All the classroom are available with a big smart board which makes professor to make a nice presentation and understand the topic in easy manner, we are also having accessed to the computer labs with wifi for the college work or extra co curriculum/research work. Their are various sports and co curriculum activities activity taking place in campus For sports we are having n number of options: Badminton, Cricket, Volleyball, Tennis, Kabbadi, Kho kho,and Many more. Various intra department competitions. We the school of Commerce and management having various innovative clubs mentored by our esteemed faculties and Dean Some of the clubs are : Sales Avenger's Club which build up to show our entrepreneur and Sales skills Sustainable development Development (SDG) club Research Club : whose motive is to research on various case studies in finance or business Yoga club, photography club, Econiti club which focuses on the environmental problems and their solutions.
Admission
First I applied for KJ Somaiya college for bcom in Accounting and costs but later I discovered the Sanjivani University 's Bcom in Financial Markets which is not just different but also unique in its curriculum and it's practical knowledge and execution and approch to real word scenarios. No I didn't got any rejection from that college but I rejected it cause the syllabus of that curriculum was outdated and faculties were also not good in teaching. For Admission in Sanjivani University's Bcom in Financial Markets (undergraduate course) you can have any background i.e Humanities, commerce or Science they accept admissions from all the streams To be eligible for the scholarship you must have a decent score i.e above 90%. The procedure for the admission is very smooth the staff responsible for the admission is also very polite and helpful.
Faculty
The faculty of Sanjivani University is more friendly that you can also access them even after the lecture timings if you are facing any sort of doubt not just in academics but also co curriculum. The faculty is always available for their students doubt solving. They don't just teach us the Curriculum but also shape us as a good human for the society. The Faculty here does the holistic development of each and every student. All the faculties in Sanjivani University are well qualified having a prior good experience in the reputed institutes. So all faculties teach very well, none faculty is there that we dislike them. All faculties are best. The exam conducted here are more focused on the practical application of whatever we have learned,so the level of semester exams are quite decent. The majority students are able to pass the exams but some are not, cause it's all about applying the knowledge in real word scenarios, the exams are all related to the course curriculum and practical based
Night Life
The gym, cafeteria, library this all are available in the campus itself. The famous hangout area is the Godavari river which is around 1 km away from the university. Their are also various peaceful temple and gardens near the university
