Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum of the course is very relevant to what is happening around and what kind of languages and subject are in trend . Being in bca all the important computer languages like c c++ java sql basic as well . There are value added courses as well like soft skills , life skills to enhance the personality of the students

Internships Opportunities

4

In second year the college has a mandatory rule that each student has to do internship somewhere in the year break and has to show their certificate as well . Recently in collaboration with whipro they have launched a program where the college only provides many courses where u get to learn about them one month and the other month is a internship in the same field .

Placement Experience

5

The placement of the college is indeed great and the college lives upto the reputation of it . Many big companies take part in the drive and there is a cell called the tnp cell ( training and placement cell ) which is formed to make the students idea about the interview that takes place in the placement round

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for one semester is 76825 . The tution fee is 63000 the development fee is 13125 there is no scolarship that anyone knows of . The fee keeps increasing every year according to the course you are pursuing but the minimus is around 10% percent for every course

Campus Life

3

The social life in this college is okayish as the college fest and other events are very limited . The events are good and hosted properly. The college uniform is mandatory and if caught not wearing there is a fine of 500 rs everytime . There are clubs in the college where u can enroll yourself into like the dance club , singing, photography, modeling etc . Thought the college doesn't support the sports and their teams a lot in competitions until the team wins the competition overall

Hostel Facilities

2

The building allotted to first year students is 4 storey building with no lift and too many stairs . The room is a sharing room with one another person . The room has two single beds two seperate cupboards two chairs and two tables to study . The room is very small . The mess food isnt good everytime . They provide three meals breakfast lunch and dinner.

Admission

I preferred this college over other colleges as the placement of this college is really nice and they tend to keep up to theri reputation of a good placement college . The college fee is affordable compared to other private colleges and the studies here are great in all the courses especially btech

Faculty

4

The faculty of the college is generally nice and as a teacher they are good in teaching . Some teachers are a bit rude and have no student teacher bonding but yes not all teachers are like them . Some teachers are just like friends and are very good as well. There are three examinations t1,t2,t3 The t1 is the first set of exams where only the major subjects are being tested T2 are the mid terms and all the subjects are being examined T3 are the end term examinations T1 is of 20 marks t2 is 30 and t3 is either 35 or 40

Interview Experience

4

If the student isnt able the clear the 12 percent criteria they have to appear for a written examination which is kinda easy but is according to the course you choose . There is no gd round and the criteria they relaease is not too high so most of the students are able surpass it easily

Night Life

4

The gym is only accessible to the hostelers and the gym is okayish . The cafeteria is good spot to hangout and the food is also nice . The hostelers are allowed to be in the college till 10 and they have to punch in the hostel before 10 pm and they have to be within the college before 9 pm as well . The students can roam around in their free time

Placement Experience:

Placements at Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT) are decent but not exceptional. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onwards. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys visit the campus, along with some startups, and offer roles mainly in IT support, development, and trainee positions. The highest package offered is around 8–10 LPA, while the average package ranges between 4–5 LPA, and the lowest is around 2–3 LPA. Approximately 60–70% of students get placed, while others either go for higher studies or off-campus opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

Placement Experience:

Around 70–80% of students from the course get placed through campus recruitment drives every year. The average package ranges between 3–5 LPA, while the highest package can go up to 8–10 LPA depending on skills and performance. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, and other reputed firms. A good number of students also secure internships in companies related to their field, which helps in gaining practical exposure and industry experience. The common roles offered include software developer, data analyst, trainee engineer, and support roles, providing a solid start to students’ careers.

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

All Faculties are good and everyone has a lot of experience in their work also support students. Faculty qualification is best and their way of teaching and explaining is also good. Mid-term exams are very good and they are also very tough.
