Course curriculum is relevant as I was interested in Artificial intelligence and machine learning so I opted for computer science and engineering as in the curriculum itself electives(elective subjects) are there that are more relevant to CSE FIELD so the course curriculum is relevant but they more emphasizes on theoretical concepts and lacks practical knowledge . THE TPP(Training and placement program) prepares well for placements and if more of practical knowledge is established in the curriculum then it would be great. the internal exams are conducted twice per semester and the average of both are given in internal and external exams are conducted once at the end of semester by the university.

Placements are decent, from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement students need to enroll in TPP(Training and placement program) in order to get eligible for campus placement, Many companies visit our campus for eg Capgemini, LNT, ZSCALER, EDIFECS, AMAZON, PWC, WATCHGUARD TECHNOLOGIES etc overall above 200 offerrs are made to our senior batch with the highest package of 32LPA and average package of around 4.5LPA. more than 60% of students get placed . I am also sitting for campus placement and wish to get placed soon

My fees that is for the batch 2022 the btech cse fees was Rs 100000 per year that is to be provided by you in two shifts(per semester) but during the batch of 2023 it increased to Rs 130000 per year and during the batch of 2024 it is said that the fees was approximately to Rs 140000 per year

The annual fest of our college is parivartan which is techno cultural fest and usually last for 2 days .parivartan typically held during October -November . Many technical events are also held along the year by different dipartments. Library of department and also central library both are there in campus and books can be issued from both the libraries. Most of the classroom are fitted with projectors to give more comprehensive view to students. Annual sports meet also held in college during March month. Various clubs are also there in our college which typically organizes various events on and on and help students to actively participate in them.

I choose this college because of the fee structure as this college offered me the CSE stream that I was interested in , in less fees as compared to other colleges of Chandigarh. I also applied for Chandigarh University but the fees of that university is very high comparatively and also they give less scholarship so on and on our college is the best choice if the fees is concerned. Student have to apply and fill application form in order to get selected for the course and the minimum of 75% is required in 12th grade or in diploma to get CSE stream

Faculty are often helpful to students and are very good in nature(most of them) .They are friendly in a way but hod's are not that much friendly and do not tolerate any kind of indiscipline around the campus . There are in total Two mid sem test(MST) during a semester that are made by college staff itself and are checked by faculty only and internal marks are given on that basis and for external marks the university provides the university exams(final exams) and they are check by university only(IKGPTU) the exams are easy to moderate in difficulty level and the result of the semester is declared within 2 months.

no there is no such kind of written test or GD for the admission. You just have to apply directly on campus and a minimum of 75% is required in 12th standard to opt for Cse else you can choose other streams.

Nightlife is good as our college is in Chandigarh so nightlife is obviously good . Gyms are there various food courts are there around the campus to hangout which usually closes at 11:00PM. Hostel timings are upto 10:00PM but the hostellers can roam around the campus but cannot get out of the campus after 10:00.
