Remarks
It is a good college all in all but needs to work on their relation with companies for Placements and also should improve the infrastructure of the college. Otherwise in cultural and other extra curriculum activities the college is fine.
Course Curriculum Overview
It should be more practical oriented and not written assignments based. And the course should include subject only relevant to the course. Also the period of each course should be increased as we don't really get to understand the subject in just 6 months
Internships Opportunities
No, they don't provide internship. However the students who are doing internship during the college hours are given attendance and full support, just the Student has to show the internship certificate to the concerned person
Placement Experience
Placement was the prime reason for me to take admission here in this college. However, the Placements are not that good as it was portrayed during the time of admission and only 2-3 companies came during my period and all the other were pool Campuses and in that to the TPO restrain is to attend JiO pool Campus drive just because we didn't attended one pool which was very far from our current location
College Events
We have total of 6 departments Information technology, Computer Science, Mechanical, Instrumentaion, EXTC, Chemical. And all these departments has their own departmental festival along with the one college festival called Abhiyaan. Also every year an u ni meet is organized.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very biased. Open category students has to pay more than a lakh every 4 years. On the other side caste category students has to pay only few thousands and that is also refunded to them. They take fees for unnecessary things in the fee structure which they don't even provide
Fees and Financial Aid
There is one scholarship for female students in which all the female student has to fill a form and amongst them oly one is faliciatated with 25000 scolorship but that too is very biased as this should be for students who pays the whole fee and doesn't come under any category.
Campus Life
Every six of the departments has their own departmental festival along with the one college festival called Abhiyaan. Also every year an u ni meet is organized. Also there are sports events. The labs are not that good and needs to be improved
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure is very bad and there is no sense of security. And the food is pathetic, especially of the girls hostel, the warden and the mess head has an collaboration that is why the warden doesn't changes the mess in girls hostel.
Alumni/Alumna
We have the contacts and information of every alumni in the college database and we contact them during our fests to contribute with anything that can be helpful. And we invite them as a guest of honor if they are any well known person and can encourag the students with their kind words.
Exam Structure
The exam structure is fine. There are two unit tests consists of 20 marks then there is practical exams along with vivas and the last is semester exam. We have three attempts to clear the subject of we fail in any of the subject.
Admission
My name came in the 2nd merit list based on the JEE exam and then I visited the college filled the admission form with all the other documents and paid the fees for a year and I got the admission in the college.
Faculty
They should be more enthusiastic and talk in proper English and try to encourage students to talk in English more rather than marathi. They should sometimes arrange some activities to make students more interested in their teaching
