BIT MESRA is a great platform for students who were thinking about IITS but couldn't make it.One can never forget the time spent here,the environment is very good,there are trees everywhere it's a place very far from the noise and pollution of the city,it am having a really great time here.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is designed in a flexible manner,it provides a thorough understanding about different computer science language and Mathematics which is required for getting placement in good companies, assignments are provided to help the students in their semesters so that they could perform well in their mid semester as well as end semester exams.
Internships Opportunities
Yes,our college provides internship programs,there are various clubs like IEEE BIT MESRA which organises different workshops for students like C workshop,LINUX workshop etc ,there are also research works and projects under professors for the students who are highly interested in research papers or who want to get involved with various research and help the professors in their work.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities are also quite well,there is a training and placement cell which is handled by students Students regulate the TNP cell in this way they get to know the qualities different companies want in a candidate
College Events
There are various clubs which are responsible for organising various events,like dramatic society BIT MESRA,dance club,music club,rotract club,there is also NSS BIT MESRA and DRISHTI whose prior focus is on the rural area around the college,various blood donation camps are held 2-3 a year,the students from DRISHTI even go to teach in the government schools,The main festival of our college is BITOTSAV which is held before Holi annually and PANTHEON which is a tech fest, students from other colleges also come to participate ,the students are always active due to these activities.

There are also Various competitive exams held by our college for scholarships,also students who score more than 9 GPA in their semesters get scholarships.There are also different trusts like slSwami Vivekananda scholarships available for the students
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are a part the of curriculum as it is mandatory for the students to take either PT GAMES/NSS/CREATIVE ARTS in their semesters,these extra curricular activities are mandatory for 4 semesters i.e for 2 years of college.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure is really good and spacious hostels for both boys and girla,there are total 13 hostels out of which hostel 8 and 9 is for girls and rest are for boys,each hostel has big lawns , basketball court and gardens.There are separate rooms for boys from 2nd year whereas for girls there are 2 girls in a room ,there is also intine for girls and boys hostel,for girls it is 8pm and for boys it is 9pm
Alumni/Alumna
Yes they are helpful many of our college alumni are working in various fields of India as well as abroad,there is also alumni meetings held twice a year so that the students can get the helpful guidelines necessary for their future professional life.
Exam Structure
Exam structure is very flexible,there are basically two exams held,one in the mid of the semester called mid semester exams and one at the end of the semester,the mid semester exam comprises of 25 marks and the end SEM comprises of 60 marks and rest 15 marks are given by the professors based on quiz performance+ attendance, passing marks is 40/100
Admission
I got admission through my 12th CBSE boards merit marks,there were total 40 seats available and I got selected too.All the important Documents were required on the day of counselling,for example- 10tg boards admit card,10th marksheet,12th admit card,12th marksheet and other documents as directed by the university.A counselling was done and accordingly the selected students were listed according to merit.
Faculty
The faculty is highly knowledgeable and qualified, the professors come to classes on time and maintain good attendance,there is discipline in the classroom,there is a healthy environment inside the class,they also provide us with assignments which helps us for our semester exams as well as I.
