- CU will get appreciation in case of their infrastructure need improvement in teaching staff
- the campus life is very good with diff extra curicular activities concerts and vibe of campus is too good
- some teaching faculty are very expirenced and have good teachingg skills but some of them needs teaching skills
Dislikes
- some rules for students must be relaxed i mean its a university but some rules feels like a school
- Teachers must be interviewed carefully so that only eligible staff must join
- quantity of students must be lowerd so that the placement oppertunities could increase
Course Curriculum Overview
in terms of relevance the courses are designed according to the industry needs and the subjects are interesting with proper ppts and notes along with them and a good amount of study material present at libraries and the lms. and there are projectors in each class and there are quizz surprise tests and MST
Internships Opportunities
the companies which comes for placement are more than 700 some famous are TCS, wipro, highradius , TCE , renault , Accenture etc. most of them are related to engineering but there are also for other streams like HM famous hotels
Placement Experience
the placements in the university are good you have to be more prepared for them the thing which I don't like is the amount of students is much more and the students of cgc landran and cgc jhanjeri also comes here for the placements and the companies approaching for the placements are hiring less students.
Fees and Financial Aid
if i talk about year wise i have to pay 90000 the fee is increased for now may be 130000 there are no charges other than fee. there is exam at ur admission time called cucet on the basis of score in that exam you can have 15% , 25% , 50% scholarships. and the scholarship will be removed if the cgpa of your first sem is less than 7.5 otherwise it will continue till last with each sem cgpa more than 7.5.
Campus Life
if i talk about the cultural events then the university is full these events every year there is freshers party for around 3 to 4 days with celebs performing in it and two day long CU fest which is heart of events where big artists singers actores performs and there are some film shoots took place in campus and film promotions are also there there are clubs like dance , student welfare , art club , theatre etc . and a big sports complex in the south campus with so many games.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are provided in campus with beautiful hostels each with two elevators in them and each hostel with food shops general store printing press and saloon hostels are 4 seaters 5 seaters and three seaters. outside the university there are pg and flats in kharar and also near the university
Admission
i chose this college because their placements are good and fees is less than other colleges and the campus is vibrant with multi-cultures not just India but from other countries there are semester exchange programs too which allows you to do the courses in diff universities across world
Faculty
The faculty student ratio is decent around 1:20, and faculty members are generally approachable If I have to name best faculty the names will be Dr Neha Dutta, ER Navdeep Singh , Ritika chaudhary the exams are with medium difficulty can be cracked with consistent study per sem there can be 5 or 4 or 3 exams
Night Life
Nightlife is good in campus with so many famous food outlets in Food Republic you can check on internet we call it FR and other than FR there are so many other food points in campus and fountain park where there is very good vibe at night with students and faculty doing walk and singing songs in groups and many more out side university you can go to VR mall or in Chandigarh with feasible public transport
