Remarks

1. Research the college: You should know whatever details you can regarding the college and what it can offer you. The interview is a means to establish not only how well you would fit into the college, but also how well the college fits you Before going to the interview, try to find out how much weightage the college gives on the interview process and prepare accordingly Top tier colleges will require an evaluative interview and not just an informative one. Your evaluative interview will become a part of your admission file. So be careful that you show the right side of yourself to the interviewer 2. Dress smart: Make a good first impression. While dressing, aim for a business casual style. Since this is not a job interview, you do not need to be over professional, but you must come across as smart, confident, neat and clean, and put together Moreover, selecting what you wear should also depend on the course you are applying for. While a B-school interview may call for polished, western formals, you might do better choosing innovative designs and good fabrics when appearing for a fashion course interview

Course Curriculum Overview

When I got to class on the day that reading was discussed, two months into the course, I began by asking the group what they knew about Elie Wiesel. A few things came up: that Wiesel was a Holocaust survivor, that he was one of the most important writers on the Holocaust, that he won the Nobel Peace Prize. And then one student raised her hand and described, to the surprise of some of her colleagues, the accusation against him.

Internships Opportunities

If you mean during which year of academic study, the second semester of your freshman year is not too soon. Allow yourself at least one semester of academic study to adjust to the rigors of life at UC Berkeley. Then, depending on your major, GPA, and courseload requirements, you may be ready to intern. Remember that your academic work is always your first priority. If you mean at which point during the year, the Career Center receives internship listings continually. It's probably best to begin your internship search the semester prior to your desired placement. That way, you'll have time to respond to listed positions and initiate contacts on your own as well. Lead time can give you a competitive edge when it comes to composing an effective cover letter or tailoring your resume to a desired internship.

Placement Experience

2.5

Internships give you experience in your chosen industry and insight into whether it’s the right career for you. They can also be a gateway to a graduate job as many employers make graduate offers to interns and placement year students who impress them, or fast-track them through the graduate recruitment process.

College Events

This is a list of annual cultural festivals held in colleges in India. This list is divided into several sections that divide colleges on the basis of the regions or states of India. The only exceptions to this format are Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), and National Institutes of Technology (NITs) which are listed separately under their own sections.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure of my course was approximately INR 10,000 for two years. I had to pay this amount in two instalments. The first instalment is to be made at the time of admission and the second is to be made after the completion for Ist year. The examination fees, library access fees, etc. are included in this only.

Campus Life

5

Many societies are present in the college to help students in their placements. Saksham is the main e-placement cell that provides many placement opportunities to students. Corporate society is the main commerce society for the commerce department, and it helps the students to learn better.

Hostel Facilities

5

I dont live in hostel but as i have tasted the food of hostel in the admission time the food was very tasty they provide sweet dish as well , twice a week , the hostel is non ac , and it becomes difficult in summer to stay in non ac rooms in delhi. the charges goes upto 8160 per month including mess

Alumni/Alumna

Creating an engaged, supportive alumni network is crucial to an institution’s success. If communication stops once graduates leave an institution, their understanding of the university will become stale. Instead, they should be kept informed so they can remain engaged and keep abreast on the progress of the university. Good alumni relationships bring many benefits to both the institution and the alumni. Here we speak to HE professionals who work in Alumni Relations about the benefits of maintaining an engaged alumni network and how the market is changing.

Exam Structure

Duration of Exam: The exam duration will be two hours for all the courses. Type of Questions: The question paper will be comprised of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Number of Questions: In the examination, total 100 questions will be asked. Marking Scheme: For the correct answer, candidates will be awarded 4 marks

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.
