Remarks

Good things are faculty, seniors of BCom Hons, Computer labs and library, Pandit Ji K Paraathe. Bad things are Renz global's associates unluckily our other seniors.

Course Curriculum Overview

Like every DU college, Satyavati evening college also follows the course curriculum as per DU which is obviously research-driven, relevant and fair. The core subject of BCom Hons in semester 1 is Financial Accounting and Business Law. The total marks of each exam of these subjects exam are 100.

Placement Experience

Placement of Satyavati evening college is average as our seniors say it is around 2-3 lakhs per annum. However, they provide you internship if you want to do the internship.

College Events

As a fresher I heard about many fresher's parties which were unofficial, we are still waiting for an official fresher party but deep inside I know it is not going to happen because the college has a very low budget, one of my seniors told me this thing that there is nothing to expect from Satyavati evening college for big events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fees I paid was 7795 rs for this year which is really worth for all the facilities provided in college and there are no other expenses for anything in the college. The fees are very low compared to the services of our college as it is a part of DU.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I have not heard for any scholarship in our college if there would have been any, I am sure they are for general category students like me.

Campus Life

Campus life is awesome in every aspect. The gender ratio is also good despite being an evening college gender ratio is 1:1 in the college. Extracurricular activities are also good, you will get so many opportunities for improving your personality and attitude and to win some rewards.

Admission

The admission process is very professional in college the volunteers of our college were very supportive they guided us in the process of admission. If you are eligible for the admission you just need to visit the college after 2 am and you will be assessed by a volunteer who will check your eligibility after this he will guide you to next step which to go in a particular room of your course.

Faculty

Faculty of our college acts very professionally. The teachers know what they are teaching and can clear all of your doubts. They are very supportive in case you are having any problem they are like our good friends. This is one of the best things about this college.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
