Course Curriculum Overview

3

It is pretty consistent throughout the years and do lay strong foundation for understanding concepts and all. But the examination pattern sucks. It can be improved. Exams are mostly held according the the academic schedule only.

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay about 80k rupees. Tution fee is about 40k and development fees and other Library charges in other. I didn't have any quota, I scored 94%tile in mhtcet and then got a seat. For Sc candidates the fee is 200 per year and no idea about St. For obc and other category fees is about 40k

Campus Life

4

There is table tennis, badminton playground, gym, basketball and cricket ground. So pretty much for sports, also plenty of space for club offices and all. A good auditorium for speeches and all. There are lot of clubs, cybrotics, kalarpan, GMC, GDSC, robotics, and a lot. Also it has been made compulsory to join any. Also student council is present, and particular association for each branch student run clubs. Library is pretty boring, just academic books are there. If you want books like for usual reading, good time finding it.

Admission

Due to the reputation of being a government college and autonomous status and also due to city vibes, I chose this one. I was getting private pune engineering colleges but the fees and other expenses dosen't make sense to the features they provide. You need to give mhtcet examand score maybe 90+ percentile to make your sure your place. And cutoff for tech branches of cse, it, ENTC is pretty high. Minimum 95 percentile is required.

Faculty

4

Permanent teachers are good. Because of autonomous status of they only teach exam specific someone's due to time constraints. But hourly paid non permanent teachers sucks to hell. They better get fired. Most hated teacher in ENTC dept is wankhede sir

Night Life

1

Night life and GECA dosen't go together. Girls intime is like 7 PM. And for boys it's 9:30. Only library stays open till 11 Pm. It's not really recommended to stay outside during night in college. There is garden inside the college, but place is not really that big. If you need to hangout in city, cannought is the only one for college students and other tourist destination like Aurangabad is a good historic city.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.
