A GENUINE REVIEW OF VIT-AP

The curriculum often includes the latest trends and technologies and industry requirements for example in AI, Cybersecurity and so on. A mix of classroom learning, labs, case projects and research studying is there. Comprehensive final-year projects are also there to integrate learning.

The tution fee is1,03,000 for each year so in total it will be 4,12,000. The admission fee is 13,000. It is paid only once for all the four years. The caution deposit which is also paid once is 30,000. The hostel fee may vary depending on the number of beds and whether it is AC or NON AC dormitory. The fee for 8-bedded NON AC room is 73,200 which in turn for four years would be 2,92,800. The mess fee also changes depending on the type of mess you choose - Veg, Non Veg, Special. The mess for veg is 79,900 and for four years it will be 3,19,600.

There are many events in our colleges conducted by their respective clubs. The two main annual events are VITOPIA sports and cultural fest and VTAPP technical fest conducted in March and September. A wide range of books and journals are available in our library. Sports and extracurricular activities are very well supported in our college. Sports like badminton, cricket, basketball, throw ball, table tennis, chess are played in our campus.

Every student is provided with their own respective bed, study table,study light, study chair and a big cupboard for closet. Depending on the type of room opted Ac's are present and lighting is very good in our rooms and fans are provided correctly. Mess food is often goos but not always. A months schedule is fixed and it is boring to eat the same menu for four weeks continuously. Reviews in mess food and quality are strictly taken by the mess committee members. They will try to amend their faults if any as soon as possible. Menu is also prepared by Mess committee who are students themselves. Registration process is first come and first serve. It is affordable but still it's a bit pricy. Attendance is taken in rooms every night to ensure students are there .

I applied to only VIT-AP and I got selected in the first round of AP-EAMCET itself. I chose this college over the others because of its reputation. We can be admitted into this college through VITEEE and AP-EAMCET exams. The cutoffs for these exams change year by year. Students who are also known as star students i.e. the district toppers in intermediate, get free admission to this college.

The faculty is very well approachable in our college. They are very friendly as far as I know and they are ready to solve our doubts but not all facilities are like that. There is a faculty ranker website from which we can about a particular faculty's teaching status and their correction and all. We have two cat exams which are mid exams and one fat exam which is the final exam for a semester. The exams papers vary for every slot. There are wide range of papers. Some maybe difficult and some maybe moderate. Students often fali to clear their exams and they can retake this exams whenever they have time

There are unpaid gyms in every hostel and also a paid gym in Rockplaza. Food Street and Rockplaza are the places well known for hangout spots and cafeterias. There is a single library in our college which is open from 8a.m to 7:30 p.m on working days and 8 a.m to 4 p.m on non working days. Hostel in timings are 8:30 p.m for girls and 9 for boys. Our whole college is tightly secured and it is safe to roam around even at night. Students do enjoy a lot in our college.
