Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum of DU is itself the only reason why students across the country aspires to be a part of it. The main reason why i chose BA is i want to prepare for government exams ahead and i feel it will give me a competitive edge for the same. The curriculum includes interactive classes, on field surveys which makes each nd everyone real - world ready. Exams are conducted 2 times a year and its difficulty level is moderate.

Internships Opportunities

4

Companies like KPMG, PWC, EY, DELLOITE, GENPACT, INDIGO, TECH MAHINDRA etc comes to our college, so ya the placement and internship scenario in our college is really great. The internship stipends goes around 6-7k per month.

Placement Experience

4

Students are eligible for placements and internships from the very first year of the college, the college offers internships and placements in the BIG 4's and others such as indigo, tech Mahindra etc. The highest package was around 21 lakh ,average package was 5-6 lakhs. There's a diverse array of profiles offered in my college, even the student's of BA gets placed here. About 1/4 th of student's gets placed from entire batch.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees which i pay is around 14000-15000 which is roughly around 7000 per sem. Apart from the tuition fee there is no such miscellaneous fees but only a minimal amount of examination fees which depends upon your subject selection and sums up around 2000 per sem. Other courses fees also lies around the same variation ex for bcom its around 15000. There is usually 2 types of scholarship one is university scholarship and other is college scholarship. And also theirs a STUDENTS AID FUND for economically weaker section. In this their is entire fee wavier of your yearly fees.

Campus Life

3

Let me tell you one thing, if you are getting an admission in this college don't expect any fest wether it be morning or evening. The library is a thing you can count upon in this college, with a wide amount of seating area,it also has all the books required by the students. Even if by any chance any books is not found you can always reach out to the librarian and he'll make it available for you. Thou the sports scenario in the upcoming 1-2 year is not that good because of the construction going on the ground however after that it's gonna have the best sports scenario in entire DU,it'll be having an indoor sports stadium.

Admission

If you talk about my preference and other colleges which i had put in the preference sheets, SBSEC was above all evening and off campus colleges and let me tell you this was the best decision i made. I have my other friends from morning shift and hardly there's any difference in fact they say that the faculty of evening college far more better than the morning. The admission process is simple, appear for CUET and then as per you score in it you'll be getting respective college.

Faculty

3

The faculty to student ratio is around 1:50. For each 50 students there is 1 faculty. The faculty is extremely good and are always available for the students. Because of this the faculty student relationship also becomes very good. In a year the college organizes around 2 end sem exams whose difficulty level is also average. If you concentrate in your daily classes its more than enough to get good marks in the exams.Question papers are usually based on pyqs.

Night Life

4

Since it's an evening college, mostly the time which you'll get to hang out will be at night, to mention about gym there's no gym in the campus but near the college u'll get n number of gyms. There's a canteen and cafeteria in the campus itself. Unfortunately for the people who are coming from outside delhi, the college doesn't have any hostel facilities you'll have to find your own accommodation. The campus timings are for evening classes start from around 3 and ends at 8. The most famous hangout place near our college is the OG authority.

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.
