Likes

In IIT there is lot of freedom college culture is very different from schools
The teaching faculty is very good there are many clubs for different divisions
College placements are very good over the years

Dislikes

Our college is one the oldest college so need to improve infrastructure
Boys to girls ratio is less and there is no branch change in our college
Hostel are very old and small for the first year students

Course Curriculum Overview

The reason why I took this course is I am interested about electrons and semi conducter industry .there are lab practicals to experience real world applications .need an update to the syllabus this are old topics.exans are moderate to tough .

Class Size: 140Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fee of iit ism dhanbad is 100000 per sem and hostel fees various over semester for monsoon semester it is 36000 and for winter semester it is 26000 this is for OC ,OBCstudents.for students like SC,ST there is no tution fee .for OC and OBC there there fee waiver according to their family income .for SC,ST students there NSP scholarship.

Campus Life

In over there are two types of fest there are technical fest and cultural fest of three days and there is also sports fest for the one who loves to participate in sports .there is one big Library where students like to study for the exams.there are many clubs for the development of students such as technical clubs like cyber labs with divisions like ML,web development etc..,

Admission

I have applied many colleges in josaa counselling through jee .according to my rank I got this college .rank decides your college and course .there are many colleges where I got rejected due to my rank

Faculty

The faculty is always available to the students through WhatsApp and you can mail to the professor. To clarify your doubts and you can also get carrier guidance there is two types of exams in our college mid sem and end sem exams and lab practicals only few students fail to clear exams.this curriculum is good for this course

Night Life

You can roam all night inside your college .there is gym in our college you can morning and evening .hostels in timings are different for different hostels .there are catinees for late night.in time of our hostel is around 12.

Placement Experience:

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement there are lot of companies who used to visit our campus like microsoft gives 15 to 20 offer, amazon guves 13 to 15 offer , accenture gives a lot of offer like 30 offer and many more in recent year placement 64 lpa is highest and average of 12.5 lpa they use to offer forSDE role in last year 93.14percentage of total student get placed my plan is to get a full time job as software developer

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

1.The main thing about our campus, campus placements are so good. Branches like CSE & ECE have high placement percentage about 90. 2.From 3rd year students got involved college internships and programmes that allow them to better placements. 3.Top companies like Google,Microsoft,Amazon,Intel,Samsung etc visited our campus. And the highest package of our campus is about 60LPA offered by Amazon. 4.I planned to work after completing my B.Tech.

Placement Experience:

Placement Experience:

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

Placement Experience:

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass
