- As the college is in South Indian the foods are a mix of north and south varieties sweet and salty is lacking
- Climate is so tropical and hot in the day whereas bone chilling in night's
- No malls nearby should go to Chennai if needed

Fees and Financial Aid
As of now the college is charging a fixed amount for a batch, Every year the new batch will be paying a 5000rupees increment in comparison with the previous batch. At the beginning the institute will charge 22000rupees of cation deposit and 15000rupees of admission fee. Lab fee is included in the tution fee itself.There is no difference in fees, Any one who is pursuing a Btech degree in this university should pay 330000rupess as tution fees but categories who can apply for fees reimbursement can apply via college finance block. There's is no merit cum need scholarship or any other scholarships directly by the college but the state or central government policies regarding the scholarships can be applied. As the college is an educational institution of national importance there are no management seats.
Campus Life
There are many clubs in which students can learn many new things. These are dance, sports, and cultural clubs. There will one event named ‘Utkrishta’ conducted in November for 9 days in the institute. Major event in IIIT Sri City is ‘Abhisarga’ conducted in the month of March. There will be inter-institute competitions conducted among the students of IIITs and IITs. Students go in these competitions along with club members to participate and gain some experience.
Admission
This college is a tier 1 college and rank among top5 among 26 iiit's. This college is applied via JEE main (NTA). If you are able to rank in between 15 thousand to 45 thousand you might be accepted in .
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is about 1 to 8. The relationship is much like a friend rather than a professor.Cours curriculum is rather father and complex to cling onto it you need to study diligently.
Night Life
The gyms are equipped with enough equipment required for a small scale gym, it is open 24/7 if you ask the watchman or security he will provide you with the keys. College is the sart of gyan marg even in the darkest night it's is safe
