A Balanced and Engaging Experience at IIIT Sricity.

One of the key reasons I chose IIITS was its modern, industry-aligned curriculum. It offers core technical subjects like Data Structures, Operating Systems etc. It also lays a solid foundation for higher studies (M.Tech/MS) with good exposure to algorithms and research paper writing. Exams are spread evenly 2 Internal Quizzes (each semester), 1 mid exam (after 6-7 weeks), 1 end exam (final week)

The fee at IIIT Sricity is fairly reasonable in comparision to other top technical institutions , though it has increased gradually over the years . To pursue B.Tech , students have to pay an admission fee of Rs.17000 and a refundable caution deposit of Rs.20000 upon joining . The fee per semester uis Rs.165000 and there are extra fee such as Rs.22000 for hostel and Rs.20000 for mess for each semester. Medical insurance coverage and associated services amount to about Rs.2600 per year. For the whole 4-year program, the total cost adds up to Rs.16 lakhs. For SC and ST students , scholorships like the Top Class Education Scheme pay for tution fee , hostel charges , and a stiphend .

Festivals and Student Events : Abhisarga - The annual Cultural Fest , usually held in Feb / Mar , filled with dance , music , and drama. Utkrishta - The technical fest, generally held in Oct/NOV, featuring hackathons, coding contests. The central Library has a growing collection of academic books, technical journals, magazines and research publications. All Classrooms are equipped with projectors, audio systems and a smart board. Wifi is available across campus 24*7 IIITS offers indoor and outdoor games like : Football , Cricket , Volleyball , Badminton , TT , chess There are many clubs like Coding Clubs, AI/ML Club, Photography and Dance Clubs, etc

I chose IIITS over other academic institutions, Good Faculty, Worthy Placements, Good Campus Environment, Fees which is lower than other colleges like VIT/SRm. I couldn't get into Other Top Colleges NIT Trichy- Missed Cutoff by a small margin due to category-wise seats, IIIT Hyd - Didnt apply. Admission Process Eligibility - 10+2 , JEE Mains only , Councelling Process through JoSAA/CSAB . Cutoff around 14k-18k rank for CSE, 24k-30k for ECE.

IIITS maintains a faculty-to-student ratio of approximately 1:15. Faculty Members I like mostly are Dr.Abhishek Hazra, since He teaches very well and slowly (mainly OS concepts) , Dr.Rajendra Prasath , since He will be very interactive and funny with the students. There will be several exams per semester. Each semester has 2 Quizzes , 1 Mid-Exam , 1 End-Exam , Assignments and Lab Works . Grading is Done on 10-point CGPA scal(relative grading) . Fail rate is very low (5%) .

The GYM, Library, and public areas close by 9 PM, and the cafeteria shuts around 7 PM. Hostel and Campus Entry : Hostel entry closes by 11 PM , but students can move freely within the campus before that.
