Course Curriculum Overview
The IIOT curriculum was advanced and relevant but college wasn't equipped for advance course hence we didn't have good labs for our courses. The exams were really frequent and fair but some students do cheat and go unnoticed while the other students get checked
Internships Opportunities
I was offered by ANORG technologies Gondia for Web Developer role with speciality in MERN stack. We will be working on building website for various clients from agricultural and medical fields as our project.
Placement Experience
From 6th sem student become eligible for the placements and this year many companies came to college, Average package was 3.6lpa and infosys took most of the students and came up as mass hiring company. I also got placed in Capgemini and I will be working there for some years
Fees and Financial Aid
I am OBC Student but my parent's yearly income is over 8 Lacs hence i had to pay full fees which was around 1.5Lacs per year. If you have income certificate with OBC caste validity then you'll have to pay 98k as fees
Campus Life
The name of annual TechFest is different for each and every department of college for example the techfest of electronics department is called as ICON which is also the most prominient fest of the college. Many books are available in the library to read. The annual cultural fest is called as YASH.
Admission
This college was near my home city Amravati and I wanted to stay near my parents as my dad is handicapped hence i chose ycce over other colleges, the fee structure is quite high for someone like me but it was good enough. You require score of either JEE/CET to crack this college.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is good. As we have many faculty members behind a bunch of students hence there is proper control and discipline in the college. There are many semester exams which we have to clear and it is better to clear every exam in one go as clearing back papers is very difficult task.
Interview Experience
no we didn't have any type of group discussion for the admission but we were required to have a good score in the exams which were required for the qualification. Mainly JEE and CET if you have good score in this then you will get in easily.
Night Life
I lived around the campus for most of my college life hence i ncan share my experience here. The college is suurounded by various pgs and private hostels and everyone prefers private hostels over college hostel due to their strictness. There are plenty of places to eat near college at night.
