Remarks

KNC is a great college. The only flaw here is the infrastructure. Due to lack of infrastructure, the time table stretches and there is prolonged gap between the classes. The gap sometimes is 4-5 hours long that makes it difficult for the students to wait.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is intermediate. It is not too easy nor too tough. The subjects are a blend of student's choice and mandatory subjects. There are 2 subjects that the student chooses right at the time of the admission. These subjects are known as discipline subjects. They remain same for all semesters. The other two subjects are optional. Students are given a list of subjects to choose, in every semester. These subjects keep oj changing in every semester.

Internships Opportunities

No, KNC does not provide internships. As per my knowledge, no college in DU provides internships. Whatever internships are offered to the students, are by volunteer organisations who get in touch with the students and provide opportunities.

Placement Experience

3.5

The job placements in KNC are lucrative. Companies like KPMG have been regularly visiting KNC and have selected some great students to be a part of their esteemed organisation. The placement cell of KNC is quite active and constantly searching opportunities to grab the companies' attention.

College Events

4.5

KNC celebrates events like: Fresher's: To celebrate arrival of the new batch. College Day: To celebrate the establishment of KNC Sports Day: To celebrate the essence of Sports. Alumni Meet: To guide the students towards opportunities. Teacher's Day: To celebrate the hard work of teachers. College Fests Inter and Intra College Competitons Diwali Bash College Farewell: To bid adieu to the passing out batch.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure of KNC is feasible. The annual fees is about 10-12,000 rupees. The fees is submitted on an annual basis. Facilities are provided on the college website to submit the fees online and keep the fees receipt as records. Concessions are given in the fees on the basis of certain set criteria.

Fees and Financial Aid

I do not know of any scolarship that KNC provides. However, quota system exists like sports quota etc whereby some concession is apparently given. Other than that, I do not know if there is any other such facility.

Campus Life

3

Extracurricular activities like sports, dance, music, gym, art etc are provided by different college socities. Academic socities like commerce society etc give opportunities to students who are academically inclined. All the societies are active and students learn a lot through them.

Hostel Facilities

4

KNC does not have hostel facility. Although, there is infrastructure available but the hostel has not been provided due to some administrative issues. The students who need hostel, take PG near the college itself.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is strong. Alumni meet happens every year. Besides, students get in tough with their seniors informally too. They help their juniors by guiding them and sharing their experiences. They also give them opportunities to start their internships etc.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is simple and hassle free. The exam is divided in two parts- internal and external. Internal marks are given by teachers on the basis of assignments and tests. External exam is given at a university level which is a subjective paper.

Admission

I got admission in KNC on the merit-basis. The merit list released in the month of June. I reserved my seat in the first merit list. I was asked to get my documents approved and choose my subjects for the first semester.

Faculty

4

The faculty of KNC is friendly and extremely helpful. The professors are not just mentors but they are friends when needed. The students share comraderie with their professors. The exchange is always mutual.

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.
