College review

Positive remarks is with respect to the the academics and the support they provide to each and every student and guide him to his/her success. Negative remarks is with respect to few faculties who lack the communication skills which effect us during our examination time

Curriculum is with respect to the current technology based, with many hands on knowledge based subjects and also those subjects that might become one of the hot subjects in the near future. the curriculum is in depth and gives a great foundation to the course

College does provide internship but in the form of research hence no stipend. They provide research internship in wide variety of fields from computer science to chemistry to cloud computing etc. all these are done with basic entrance tests and interviews to filter out the students

Placements have always been good at PES. the college has been saying 100% placements. The package also has been great with an average of 12laks per annum with the highest package offered up to 39lakhs per annum.

College celebrates a great fest once a year called aatmatrisha which a 2-3 day long fest. it includes games such as treasure hunt , coding competition, project display and last light is a party night with a great musician and band troop performing for the faculty ,parents ,students

Fee structure is divided into 3 categories as CET , PESSAT , Management. Cet fees is 1lakh per year , PESSAT fees depends on the stream chosen for example for CSE its 3 lakhs, ECE is 3 lakhs and for management its 7lakh for CSE per annum and for ECE its 5lakh per annum

The students are provided with variety of scholarships based on the grade secured by him/her in the semester. Every student with a sgpa of 8-9 is given 500 and student with sgpa 9 and above is given 1000. Students in the top 20% are given 15% scholarships

Sports is given importance by conducting inter college and intra college competition to encourage students in playing a sport. they do have football, basketball,badminton,table tennis courts which the student can utilise in his/her leisure

Hostel in our college has different blocks which allotted to the students on certain criteria such as first come first or the grading system and also based on the year of study. Hostel has wide spread option such as 2 or 3 people sharing and also with attach bathroom or common bathroom

They are very helpful the seniors in guiding the students and also with workshops called pesu I/O. College conducts after college workshops with wide variety of topics for free from the seniors where there is also project works and grading is also done

The exam is split into 3 parts with 2 internals and 1 externals and also some projects which depend on the faculty and the subject. the internals is conducted for 40 and reduced either to 15 or 20 , externals is conducted for 100 reduced to 60 and rest is evaluated for assignments and projects

Writing college entrance exam called PESSAT and later when the results were announced and counselling took place in 2 folds , I got into this college in the second round of counselling. Admission process starts with rank 1 and goes until the allocated seats for that branch is filled

Most of the faculty teaching the college have a great experience in the corporate world and know what is the expectation and the requirement of the corporates and they guide each student towards that goal
