Cousre curriculum is updated as per today's requirement you will get to know various languages which other colleges don't teach I am glad to know that when I entered VIT there are three exams in one sem

Internship opportunities offered by VIT is way good than any other colleges also stipend offered is impressive and they also have alternative if you are not able to crack any internship overall experience is good

Placement Experience

Placemnts offered in VIT is quite good and placement ratio is also fantastic if you are deserving one or have qualities which company asked you will surely be placed and also vit supports startups if you have any

Fees and Financial Aid

There are 5 category in VIT Chennai I am in 4th category per year tution fees of 4th category is 450000 and it varies according to your category VITEEE provide schlorship also if you scored <1000 in exam

Campus Life

Campus life in VIT is good and you can indulge yourself in many activities indoor and outdoor as well and also there are over 200 clubs which you can participate in and also events organised by clubs are so real

Hostel Facilities

Hostes are well equipped with equipment and also there is one bed and one cupboard and a shelf and one table and chair which is enough for a 18 year old boy to live on clother dry area is common for all

Hostel Fee: INR 110000 per year

Admission

I have chose this college because I got computer science steam with my favourite brach AI and robotics and also I have appeared in various entrance exam like bits and jee mains and manipal university I cracked but didn't get my favourite branch

Faculty

Faculty in VIT is very friendly and cooperative they provide homley environment and also students counselors are there in VIT you are feel free to talk to them but some are very strict which is also important

Night Life

Nightlife in vit for hostellers is not so happening only thing you can enjoy is TT and carrom and can have food in night mess but outside VIT Chennai is the best place to live in so many activities are there

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. Admission process in VIT is as follows:- 1) write VITEEE exam cause vit doesn't considers jee scores. 2) you must have above 60 percent in boards and above or equal to 60 percent in PCM aggregate. 3)cutoffs, past papers, closing and opening ranks are not revealed si can't say much regarding that. 4) overall admission experience was decent...Read More

Is VIT worth it

From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains. The syllabus for the same is similar to jee mains and the good thing is it has no negative marking. All 12th pass students with a minimum of 60% are eligible to write this entrance test.
