As our college is under development and is not fully developed. So the problem we face is in hostel facilities and our own play ground. College will get developed in coming years. But these two problems are there.
Course Curriculum Overview
As of my Choice college and also i want to get my degree in Agricultural College, so it suits me a lot. The Course Curriculum of the said college is favourable and is fit in all terms of my choice, its course is vast in fisheries field.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, our college in faculty of fishries provide internship. Its Faculty members are a lot experienced in this field, as also the Internship is included in the course curriculum by the management of its VC.
Placement Experience
As far as Placement and job opportunities are concerned the college of fisheries has a lot scope in State as well as outside the state. The central government is extremely eager and is extending the scope of fisheries sector.
College Events
All events of state as well as of national importance are celebrated in this faculty of fishries. Especially the events on nature and natural climates, environment protection events, water and its conservation programmes etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for the college of fisheries is feasible, as per semester we have to spend Rs: 15 thousand for college, bus fare as well as for our hostel facilities. But for Payment seats the students have to spend Rs: 25 thousand for the same
Fees and Financial Aid
The college is not so expensive but to facilitate the students the college has provided the loan facilities to its students at a very low interest. Probably the college demand 18% interest per annum for the loan.
Campus Life
As the college is vast all the curricular activities are done in its headquarter at Shalimar area of Srinagar City. But the Fisheries college has its labs and all other facilities in it. The labs are well suited.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel faculty and infrastructure is good but not excellent as I rate for hostel facilities of my college 7 out of 10 and infrastructure 8 out of 10.But overall conditions are good and is developing.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, the students of the Faculty of fishries are well suited and of well demand. Every year a number of students are getting their degrees in their relevant fields and are getting choices placements.
Exam Structure
Exams are on semester based, there are two semesters per year and so for four years there are 8 semesters and then six months for internship giving a total of four and a half year for the completion of the degree.
Admission
As after my entrance test held in 2017 for admission to various courses in Sheri Kashmir University of Agricultural Science and technology Kashmir (SKUAST-K). I got 80% of the Merit, and got the Fisheries college in my councilling.
Faculty
On my faculty of the Fisheries college it is a lot experienced in their fields of Study courses. There are Sir as well as madam in the course of study. The department head as commonly called DEAN of the Faculty is vast concerned about our study staff.
