My college experience

Most positive remark about the college would be the placements, an average student like me got a placement in a good company with decent package, every branch has placement depending on your hard work. Negative would be the hostel food, but still you can go for private mess and hotels.

Course and Curriculum here is of the Savitribai Phule Pune University(SPPU), this University is in Top 10 Universities of India. It ranks 9th in all over India. Curriculum is revised after every 5 years means advanced course is include timely in here.

Yes. College has some provisions whee students get to do Internships, one of my friend got internship in a good IT company and many more, some teacher help you to get good internship in market. You have to be aware of the notices for students.

Job Placements here are best in the market, this year from some branches like IT, Comp every student who registered for company drives got placed, here every type of companies like Core, IT, Non-Technical, etc companies come and recruit students.

Events like Carnival, freshers party, Karandak, Techtonic, Neon-Karandak, Cultural Festival are held here. And most important event which is EDM DJ Night, where singers and DJs from foreign are invited and partied with the students.

As per the University rules, fee structure is different for various categories. General category have to pay full fees and scholarships are give to OBC, SC and ST catagory from the Maharshtra government.

Scholarship for OBC, SC, ST are give by the state government and Genera category also get EBC(economically backward class) scholarship. Also you can get some Trust Scholarships if you are eligible and crack the exam sometimes.

Various events, workshops, seminars, clubs are in the college for extra curricular activities. Robotics club, Solar Car, Art Circle, IEEE clubs are available to join. In the annual Karandak festival, Sports competitions are also held.

As in the hilly area the infrastructure is good and the hostel facilities are good. Just the mess of the hostel has a relatively poor quality food, but the Buildings and Campus area is good and has greenery and cleanliness.

Here many people got placed in good companies, and some have become entrepreneurs too. So students here are always in touch with the alumni seminars. Successful alumni are called here on regular basis for seminars and guidance.

Exam Structure is according to the University Rules, Semester wise exams are held and in every semester along with the end-term exams, also the mid-term exams are held in between. Also the online exams too held in 1st and 2nd year.

I got admission in this college through CAP(Central Admission Process) Round, I had to appear for JEE exam and the 12th exam at my time and the composite score was the base for getting admission in to the College.

Most of the faculties are experienced here, but in recent times due to some strikes for payments, some teachers left the college, hence some of the staff here is less experienced and some got transferred from other colleges in here.
