What Students Say
Likes
- Helpful and supportive faculty as they guides and mentor you for hackethons.
- Coding culture is good , many hackethons are organised and speakers are invited to guide students
- They dont put too much pressure on attendance and give students enough time to engage themselves in coding and make themselves skillfull
Dislikes
- Campus size is too small , Its campus size is only 7-8 acres which is a major thing i dont like.
- No fests are organised or any big fun events
- Internship opportunities on campus are pretty less
Course Curriculum Overview
Course and curriculum is also pretty decent . Thing that influenced me was no attendace issue in college like i can go and prepare for hackethons without stress of attendace . Things that can be improves are change of subjects . As a first year student , i get no reason to do mechanical workshops and get injured. As told , exams level is also pretty decent if you start studying before a week you can score pretty well.
Internships Opportunities
As a first year student , i dont know much about internships but i heard adobe , infosys internships with a good stipend were being provided to some students in college . Major campanies ask data structure and algorithms in there rounds .
Placement Experience
Placements are decent with a average package of 7 lpa . Many mass recruiter visits college like accenture , zs associates , tcs and infosys etc . Highest package was 55 lpa given by DE SHAW . I will be preparing myself for off-campus placements if i dont find a good placement for myself though.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total fees for Btech in information technology in MAIT is 174000 per year . 1,54,000 is tution fees of each year , 15000 cultural fee per year , 5000 registration fee per year. Many scholarships are available for single girl child and for reserved categories.
Campus Life
Campus life is average due to small campus but college crowd is good. Many societes are there like expressions for art and craft , gdg , ieee, techxtract are some of the coding societies and edc , startup sphere are some of the startup societies in the college
Admission
I scored 94.8 percentile in jee mains and got admission in this college through ggsipu counselling. Major reason of choosing this college was good placements records and coding culture . Also the college is in rohini delhi which is a good location. I also got admission in ymca fbd but found mait better so i joined this. Some seats are also reserved for management quota in college else it only accepts jee mains rank for admissions.
Faculty
Faculty of college is pretty good , helpful and supportive , they guides and mentors you in hackethons and are always open for any queries . Almost all faculties are supportive in attendance too . In each semester mid sems are conducted twice and once end terms are conducted. Exams level are pretty decent in term of difficulty
Night Life
Night life is also decent as there are shops , gyms and public areas nearby . Rithala metro station is nearest to the college to go anywhere in delhi . If i talk about safety , it can be a major concern as there is a nearby begumpur area which isnt safe at night
Other Applied Colleges
J.C. Bose University Of Science And Technology, YMCA | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Information Technology)
I found MAIT better than jc bose university in terms of plalacements
