Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is good since I took mechanical engineering the way one should learn is going on here,the practical lectures and...and frequently we will be writing records and assignments so that we are within the subject
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are provided by a club named as NVCTI where the stipend varies from 6k to 60k per month and other who are interested tries to get internships through unstop.. where they get stipend till 1lakh
Placement Experience
Several companies like Flipkart..and several new and MNC's visit here the percentage for BTech students is almost around 85.the highest package is of 65lpa.My plans are to do an internship and before getting degree I wish get placed in some good company with good package.
Fees and Financial Aid
My fees: Monsoon Sem:36500rs Winter sem: 26400rs The above mentioned fee are non refundable(hostel,mess,health,...) as my family income is below 1 lakh my tuition fee is 0rs. For others who does not have any category will be charged 1,09,000 rs on an average per semester
Campus Life
Other co curricular activities are good having so many events,tech events sports events..events like concetto spardha parakram are done very grandly here.Like lohri,holi other small festivalsare also celebrate along with co students here there is no gender difference
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is good all the facilities will cost around 30k per semester.Therw is seperate registration for hostel.room are good are there will only two members per room.There will be mess incharges and Hostel executive committee in we we elect one from us to be a member they will take care of quality
Admission
Admission process is through josaa so I applied for many collages I got this collage but I applied to this collage with pleasure.My rank helped me to get seat here and my marks were 131 in JEE and my category is OBC.Since I took mechanical engineering IIT ISM DHANBAD is one of the oldest school for mining and mechanical things that one of the reason
Faculty
Professors are very apt in teaching although some professors are very strict,the way of teaching is so good.After seeing their resumes I got astonished. We will be having assignments/quises for each subject and viva for labs Assignments and quises carry 20% of total marks and one mid semester and one end semester of 32%/30% and 48%/50% respectively for monsoon and winter semester.Grading is done according to marks and CGPA is calculated
Interview Experience
No we don't have any interview.we just took part in josaa where we we have paid our fee in two instalments and the third at collage.there will note any kind of discussion in the process of admission.One can have a campus trip
Night Life
The main gate will have a timing that till 12 the students are allowed and student will be asked again at the gate of hostel if he/she is too late their name will be written in late entry register.one can safely roam all over the collage.all the food stores are opened till 12.
