BASIC REVIEW OF VIT AP UNIVERSITY

The course curriculum provided by this institute is comprehensive and upto date. It will be modified frequently adopting the industrial environment. Each exam of a course must contains the certain criteria(eg., x easy, y moderate, z difficult questions).

Companies like Cognizant, TCS, Accenture, Wipro are providing internships and recruiting students who have performed well in that internships. On an average they will provide a stipend of 25,000/- and many companies recruit the students based on their performance in CAPSTONE(final year project).

From 6th semister the students are eligible for campus placements. Almost 80% of the students got placed in several companies. Companies like Accenture, Dell, Havells, etc have visited the university. I want to apply for campus placement rather going to higher studies. Accenture offers on an average 9LPA, Dell 8LPA, Havells 7LPA. I have seen my brother got placed in Havells with 9LPA.

Year wise I need to pay 70,000/- but since i am getting scholarship from government i need not to pay. This is for the students who came through AP EAPCET exam. But the students who came to this college through VITEEE need to pay acoording to the category they have allotted. Eg., category 1 students need to pay 1,95,000/- per year and fees increases for increase in category. Caution fee 3,000(refundable). Admission fee 10,000. Hostel caution fee 30,000(15,000 refundable).

They will organize an annual event called VITOPIA. During this time the institute conducts several inter college games and competitions. They were building new block for library since the present llibrary is small. But the library has various type of books. We need to return book within 14 days.

The will allott a bureau(to keep clothes), book shelf, study table, study lamp, plug board, bed, chair for each hostel student. Currently we have 6 mens hostes and 3 womens hostels. Each hostel has unique supplier of food and mess. Some hostels provide tasty food but remaining does not meet the expectations. They will allocate hostels to students based on the CGPA, like they comduct councelling for hostels. Higher ranked person can get his expected room.

I have choosen it because it is developing rapidly as compared to other colleges in this state and my opinion was weighted by my EAPCET rank. I met the criteria to enter this university. Luckily, i did not get admission with my rank if i have joined this college a year later.

Each facullty will teach maximum of 100 students and minimum of 60 students per class. They have leisure hours and are allotted cabins, we can meet them in that hours and clarify our doubts. Not all the faculties have good knowledge about the subject but some faculty teach very well. Some of them struggle with effective communication.

They will not allow students to enter outside the hostel after 9PM. The library will be closed at 5PM. They will provide table tennis equipment inside the hostel. All the shops within the campus are usually closes before 8:30PM. Many of the students enjoy sitting in footpaths with their friends. There is a flag post in front of central block. Students usually sit there during nights.
