Course Curriculum Overview
Well structure and industry relevant curriculam. Covers essential subjects like Accounting,Business law, Economics,Taxation etc. Courses like Business communication and financial management aid in market understanding
Fees and Financial Aid
In my B.com course I have paid a total amount of rs.20000-24000 as admission fees and rs.200 per subject for examination fees, There were no other fees like registration fees, caution fees, development fees. Fees was same for all the batchmates and during my course I have not received any scholarship or financial aids.
Campus Life
Ignou provides a unique learning experience, balancing flexibility with academic engagement. While it lacks traditional campus life, study centers, online communities and universities-led initiatives ensure students stay connected and engaged in their educational journey.
Admission
Distance learning allows self placed study and other collages required regular attendance. IGNOU offers lower fees, cost effectiveness education and other collages have higher tuition fees, hostel and travel costs. I chose IGNOU for its flexibility, affordability, recognised curriculam and easy admission process, making it the ideal choice for balancing education with other commitments
Faculty
As it was a distance learning course there were no classes for students. Examinations used to held every year not in semester. For each year there were 8 subjects and you have to submit assignment for each subject before giving exam
Night Life
While IGNOU itself does not have a dedicated campus nightlife, students studying in urban centers can enjoy the nigh life options available in their respective cities but ignou does not have its own night life
