Likes
- College have good faculty and also the placement cell wave quote active to placement is also very good here
- Infrastructure is very good and has a large campus area of 1200 acres out of which 650 is used we have a variety of sports facility
- The courses also according to nep 2020. We also have food friends here.
Dislikes
- Being one of the top institute in India there is still no indoor sports complex
- The attendance policies quite high it is 85% and it is very strict hostel could have been better
- Girls to boys ratio is quite less it is around 23% and the girls hostel outside the academic area
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is very relevant and it matches with the future and innovation aspect. However some courses are still old and need some modification. I think more practical knowledge is required rather than theoretical aspect.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities are very best in our college. As a first year student I did not know much about internship opportunities though because it is not time i have to think about placement. For now i want to increase my skills.
Placement Experience
If I did not get placed then I wanted to open my own business as an entrepreneur or I have another plane where I will prepare for the Civil Service exam or any other government job exam and if I cracked it I get a job.
Fees and Financial Aid
4 year is 920000 only and if you have a family income or less than 5 lakh then you will get it 2:3 tuition fee favour and if you have a family income of less than 1 lakh then you will get complete tuition fee waver if you belong from SCST category then you Bill Gate complete tuition fee waver and the tuition fee per semester 62500 scholarship available by alumni for needed student
Campus Life
There are many events that held in interval of three months like NIT in Utsav Cosmo but in every event there will be some dance things that is the main thing in that event is not good I think there will be more innovative fear that the college should organised so that student would and get future ready
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities is very bad the washing machines are not working the rooms are not support also the menu is very bad sometimes I think they did not make food for the humans because it is very bad.
Admission
As an electrical engineering explain I understand that this college relay with electrical more than any other branches so this is my dream college so I choose electrical engineering in this college which is NIT Rourkela.
Faculty
The faculty to student is 1:60 and teachers are also quite approachable which is good Mr Saikat Das is a very good faculty he teachers environmental and safety engineering the way he explain it very good and he speak very Frank I didn't like Dr Rashmi who teaches English because she shouts a lot and had a little bit rude behaviour Kuchh ho jata hai easy only if you read in class the relevancy of course is also good
Night Life
The students did not sleep up to 3:00 p.m. they will be playing and shouting and howling which disturbed the environment for those who wants to sleep and also for the students who wants to study so there are be some strict rules in this regard.
