So basically I choose this course not because I was so interested in this I was interested in psychology but this college doesn't have that course and i didn't had money to go to another college so I had too choose between English and Assamese and I am not good at Assamese so i chose English and yeah i can't say I was not really interested in this I was little bit interested in this so i chose this with after a lot of thinking after choosing this course I found it interesting we got to know about everything about English literature how it started and how it's influencing people and we got to know about lots of great writers works which excites us more . Their works are really interesting and some of the plots are unexpected and we also got to know about drama play and about movies which make us more interested timing is okay about exams but in last semester we won't getting much time to prepare for it so this one gonna be difficult but our before semester was quite easy not really if you study you'll get good marks for sure

Yearly we pay around 6k and exam registration fees is different every semester around 1500-1600 Establishment fee for honours students 800 and same regular student 800 too laboratory fee for honours 100 regular 0 electricity fee same 500 both honours and regular contingency also same 500 for both honours and regular University fee also same 620 for both honours and regular development fee 600 for both honours and regular library fee 200 both honours regular examination fee 200 for both ncc , nss and youth red 90 for both megazin fee 100 for both student union fee 80 for both game and sports fee 90 for both festival fee 70 for both co-curricular fee 50 for both culture music 4 for both debate literature fee 30 for both ict 200 for both youth festival music 80 for both admission fee 400 for both tuition fee 840 for honours 720 for regular id 50 for both iqac and naac processing 100 for both same for all categories but SC st categories needs less mark then obc general categories to get admission

The overall experience in college life if good I'm not gonna say super good but it is good we do have sports activities but its the students who doesn't participate in any they're lazy but genuinely i myself once played basketball in the college week compitition and we won but maybe lack of students interest they don't have any pt teacher we were trained by some senior students only i don't really remember when they do all of the other curriculums but I'm sure that they do it and even i participated in them not all of them but some of them Our Library have most of our needed books all the references and all but i won't gonna say we had all we don't have some of them and most of students doesn't really look for it too

I did applied for one another college but it was far from our home so that's why I had to choose this college I wont gonna lie about it cuz that's the truth at first i didn't like this college I don't really know why but after getting good department professors I'm happy that I have chosen this college they do take care of us and made us feel like we're their own children they do their best to teach us and make sure we understood it all We only passed 12 th and applied for this college I got 53 percentage and I got a seat easily maybe because there was not many students or i really don't know about that After I got selected they called us to take admission we came got signed by hods then paid and done maybe other departments had cutoff but in our dept i don't think so

It's not like we hate any faculty members or something but some of faculty member doesn't takes class seriously in our college Assamese medium students are more than English ones so some of teachers doesn't teach us with English and which led us to skip classes because even tho we do classes we don't understand anything and English and Assamese terms are not same at all so we find difficulties in exams so i hate that about them and some of teachers can't teach properly we get difficulty to understand the chapter or the Novel There are two exam every semester one is sessional and one is final sessional exams are easier than final ones cuz they are printed by our teachers and finals are kinda hard cuz they put questions from nowhere and they're from board but cuz of teachers we manage to answer all of them and i like it

Our college doesn't allow night time and the college hostels are kinda far from the college and i go from home so I don't really know about the timings but if we do have important works like working on megazin and all they allow us to stay at the college during night time too but if there's no important work we need to leave college our college always shut off on 6.30-7 pm And we only have one small canteen in our campus we don't have any gym
