Remarks
The College is the best in South Bombay for a reason. Also, this college will teach you how to live life. There is something really unique about this college that makes it so special. If you are able to get along here, this is nothing less than heaven
Course Curriculum Overview
The college has become autonomous now. The exam structure and curriculum is quite different from Maharashtra board. We have a 60 Marks Semester End Exam (SEE) and 40 marks Continuous Assessment. Also AAA and AA credit points
Placement Experience
The Placement cell here is something that makes the college different from the others. Many companies come for recruitment every year and we have a record of 100% Placements. Some of the big companies that visit here are KPMG, Ernst & Young, Tata, Pond's,etc.
College Events
There are many co-curricular activities going on in the college throughout the year. Shoutt, Zodiak, Joshh, Hojamalo, Kani, to name a few.Also, there are many clubs to join like SDU, RCJC, ECell, Placement cell, Sindhi Circle, Women Development Cell, Accounts Association, Economics Association, Astronomy Club,etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible and is just like every other college, not too expensive. BCom fees was around 16000 for 3 Years. Professional courses have higher fees (16000-17000) per year. Overall it's affordable to most people
Fees and Financial Aid
There are no scholarships in this college except for the Girls Free ship for Junior college. I didn't avail any of those. No loan facility available here. There are several trusts that gives scholarships to correspondence students and allow them to give exams here
Campus Life
The college is well equipped with all the necessary labs like Chemistry Lab, Physics Lab, Computer Lab, Electronics Lab, Biology Lab. The College also has a Gym and a Library. A dedicated Gymkhana for Carrom, Chess, Table Tennis, etc.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are really cool and free to approach. They will guide you with any difficulty you are facing and try to help you get out of it. My experience with seniors has been great and I have a lot of friends who are my seniors
Admission
A few days after the results, a merit list was put up and my name was there. The next day was for verification of documents and payment of fees. This is how I got admission in the college. The process was smooth
Faculty
The faculty is well qualified and free to approach. I had a really great experience with the teachers. The support that we received from them was really helpful. They took care of us like their own children.
