Remarks
Overall it was very nice college. Since it was a huge campus with various facilities for captive use we were able to use all the facilities we were interested in at minimal or no cost. There was and is still a beautiful lord Shiva temple inside the premise whose priest was very dedicated, humble and godsend. These was botanical garden too inside the campus with a lake of a decent size.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course was good. We had semesters as in tests, mid term tests and annual exams. The course also included various personality building and patriotic subjects like sports , NCC etc. Besides the college also conducted various cultural and entertainment programs.
College Events
Oh, We had plenty. There was cultural festivals and there were days like traditional days, rose days. Annual days were a celebrated affairs where students themselves conducted n contested in various like dance, singing, drama. Celebrities were invited as chief guests too.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees were reasonable. Being economically backward the college gave discounts on fees. I know friends who were from the reserved category coming back to take refund of their fees. The college provided for over and above mandatory discounts.
Fees and Financial Aid
There were no such facilities availed of by me. But I knew bright students were given monetary assistance and discount on fees. There was free library and reading rooms which further helped students in need.
Campus Life
The college was one of the few to have its own science lab and huge grounds which were used for multiple sports activities. There were separate but adjacent basketball and volleyball courts too. There was sand pit for long jump.
Alumni/Alumna
I never experienced any ragging nor we ragged anyone. Seniors were nice to us juniors and v were equally friendly and accomodating to the juniors. I face combined we were a formidable team for many sports.
Admission
The college had cutoff marks for science, commerce and arts and those students within the cutoff lines got the admission. Local student or students of the school linked with the college got some discount t of 5 percentage.
