Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is prepared by various experts in each feild and is consistently modified and adapted to cope with the need of evolving technical and entrepreneurial skills. The course is divided into eight semester. In each semester there will be two internal exams, practical exam and cumulative semester exam.
Placement Experience
The college has its own placement cell. It offers placements for final year students and internship opportunities for pre final year and final year students. The institute has achieved 100 percent placement ratio of eligible students in the past few years. The offers came from big companies like amazon, Adobe, Royal Enfield, Bosch, Seimens, Nissan etc
College Events
All the major festivals are celebrated in the college be it holi or onam. Apart from that the academic calender is filled with various arts and sports Festival spread across the year. The flagship event Dhwani which happens in March boasts of being one of the biggest college festivals in South India.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Being a Govt college the fee structure is extremely cheap and feasible. Overall fee per year is less than 10000 Indian rupees. Also students coming from economically backward families have exemption from payment.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides lots of scholarships programs like e-grants, MOMs etc. These are awarded to students with consistent academic performances. Also every year cetaa scholarships are provided for students who excel in academics and sports.
Campus Life
The labs and workshops are among the oldest and best in the business. Speaking of sports the college provides facilities for cricket, football, volleyball, basketball,softball, badminton, table tennis etc. There is a world class indoor stadium and gymnasium that is open to all students. A floodlit outdoor synthetic Court is under construction.
Alumni/Alumna
Being one of the oldest institute it has a wide network of aluminies spread across the world. They provide scholarships for current students as well provides placement opportunities for students in their companies. There are regular meetups when aluminies comes and interacta with the students, providing them guidance.
Admission
The admission is through an entrance exam conducted by govt agencies in mid April. There are two papers held on consecutive days one science and other mathematics each having 120 questions. The rank list are published after taking into account the +2 marks within a month. A good rank will ensure your admission into CET
Faculty
The college has one of the best faculties in the states. It is a mix of youth and experience. All the faculties are well versed in their subjects and are always welcoming and open for suggestions. They provide the students the best mentorship.
