Course Curriculum Overview

I am very happy in the selected curriculum course and exam structure (Semester wise). It is very relevant to me. For completing the B.Com Hons there are total 6 semesters and it takes only 3 years to complete - each semester consists 100 marks (including 10 marks for Internal Assessment & 10 marks for Attendance) and the rest 80 marks is for external( written).

Placement Experience

The placement of our college is quite good. As I never availed any because still, I'm pursuing 2nd Year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

1st year Fees when I got admission in this college was Rs.30000 (including library fees, lab, maintenance charges, etc). 2nd year is Rs.30000 (including library fees, lab, maintenance charges, etc). 3rd-year fees will be Rs.30000( including library fees, lab, maintenance charges, etc).

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I haven't opted nor scholarship either education loan. There's nothing to describe because I didn't avail it.

Campus Life

They are just awesome. Our college is basically famous for the campus where we have to maintain discipline happily. Sports are famous in our college (boys and girls both can participate). Debates were mind-blowing. Gender ration is 60:40 (girls & boys). Labs are also good.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, seniors are helpful. They are friendly. In my college ragging is restricted. Alumni network is good.

Admission

I got the admission by submitting my details(including Aadhar card, H.S admit Card, Secondary Admit Card, With 2 photocopy and waiting for the merit list and counselling. After I got to know that I got selection on the first merit list and counselling I submitted the fees

Faculty

I extremely preferred this college to everyone because of the environment and nature. In my college, there is a good campus which anyone can fall in love with the beautiful campus. In my college, there is a beautiful garden. In my college, there is an indoor and outdoor games are available. Teachers are well honourable with a helpful nature.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
