College has helped me gain exposure to many facets which I was previously away from and did not deal with. It has given me great learning experience and helped me gain greater practical knowledge and has a good environment to learn
Course Curriculum Overview
The current course we are studying is pretty much outdated as we are studying many things which are of no significance today and we lack practical knowledge. Apart from focussing on academic part there is no stress on physical activities and mental health. The exam system is competitive and does not determine a students capabilities but his retention capacity and the judging is done on one parameter of your life.
Placement Experience
The college is consistently improving it's placement cell and providing a wide range of opportunities. It provides Internship however I opted to search for it on a personal level due to the specifications I needed.
College Events
Rajnigandha- The Annual Cultural Fest of the College which is considered a prestigious event. Comfiesta- The commerce department fest which includes various events games and stalls Internship Fair- The annual college placement drive FINESSE- An inter College event with events regarding national and international issues
Fee Structure And Facilities
Being a government college the fee structure is very feasible and even mire for other sections of the society. The burden of money is not present as is there in private schools or colleges. Very feasible for all students
Fees and Financial Aid
Not aware of any facility so I do not understand how I can write 200 characters. If there is it would be awarded by government and not at a personal level. No such student I have heard or met. As the fees is minimal scholarship makes no sense.
Campus Life
Some labs lack facilities while others have them. Being of commerce background we only use the computer labs some of which have non functioning computers while others have proper computers. Sports is not seen around. However there are many societies for great exposure
Alumni/Alumna
The senior students are very helpful and gone are the days of ragging as they are sweet and guide you throughout and are a constant support. Being part of societies we are able to stay in touch and get help or guidance. They are more than welcome to come and visit and be part of the fests
Admission
After matching the college cutoff for my preferred course I went for submission of documents such as character certificate, transfer certificate, marksheet of class 10th and 12th along with ID proof. After which I secured a seat.
Faculty
Most buildings are pretty old and have not been renovated or improved. The maintenance is poor and not looked after. The new buildings built are in better shape but the concern is they too will be neglected now. Overall facilities are present but maintenance is an issue
