- The college was very affordable atleast for me it was at the time now the fee structure has changed.
- The college campus is quite large a good library and play ground.
- The teachers are also good helps in whatever is needed.
Dislikes
- Too much of discipline things epically during new admission time.
- Not good placements if you can get placed on your own you are welcome
- Too many students in the class so teacher cannot pay attention to all students
Course Curriculum Overview
The btech course is taken by many students and is very competitive so if you are not very interested and passionate do not take admission in it. The curriculum is good its good for new starves who require be skills not old boring syllabus. Teaching could be more practical than theoretical. The exams are okay not to hard is you study before exams you will get good marks
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise fees is 56000 per year but it is increasing for all the new admission. There is not much extra fee except for examination fee and neptel exam fee every semester wich is 1000 rupees respectively. Fees is same for all the students except. There are scholarship like Swami Vivekananda scholarship wich gives 60000 to students every year
Campus Life
Campus life is good as long as you have friends and are socially energetic everyone is friendly. Fest is held at the time of holi once and once in winter. College gas abundant labs with working computers. Sports event is held once a year.
Admission
The main reason i took admission in the college was due to low fees. I applied to sit Siliguri and was accepted there and also some ither colleges here in Kolkata but the fees were too much so i went for this college. The admission process was simple just merit based from class 12 and 10 and my jee percentile All other exams like JEE mains and WBJEE is accepted here.
Faculty
Faculty to students ratio is 35:1 maybe. The teachers are good try to teach us a lot i liked subhrata nandy sir though he may be leaving the college now he tried his best to reach all the studentsamd cleared all doubts Liked all the faculty no one is bad. There are 4 exam 2 internal exam and 1 practical and a semester exam. Exam is okayish not too hard.
Night Life
There is not a gym in the college the library is good can go there campus is open till 9 in the evening. I don't stay in hostel so don't know much Cafeteria is a good hangout spot and ground and near pond such spots are there.
