Remarks
There are various positive features in the college. First of all that it is in campus, has the biggest infrastructure in the north campus, has a hostel just in front of it ( mansarover hostel) which also has a very good canteen. There are no such negative remarks . Believe me it is a good college after all.
Course Curriculum Overview
All the courses are very good. Just choose according to yourself and what you want to pursue in your life ahead in which field. Exams take place after every 6 months that is there are 6 semesters (in my course). Exams take place in November and in may. In b.com hons in I AND II SEM there are 4 subjects but in III AND IV SEM there are 5 subjects.
Placement Experience
There is a seperate society for placement called the ignite cell in our college. The placements are good but the it provides more diversification in internships. At present an internship fair was held at our college which provided various opportunities to the students for internships.
College Events
Various events have been taken place at our college. Events like debates, seminars from successful persons , and such other events take place very often all thanks to the societies of our college. Annual culture fest takes place every year and also every year new and famous singers and bands comes.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is feasible but a little higher as compared to other colleges. For b.com Hons it is approx 21,000 per year. Maybe it is because of the campus or the air conditioned classes. Also it has seperate labs for various courses.
Fees and Financial Aid
No I am not aware of such any facility but there may be a facility for financially challenged students. But they may have to apply for such type of scholarship. Also the college also provides laptops to students on rent for every year but the students must apply to that first.
Campus Life
As I mentioned earlier there are seperate labs for various departments. There is a seperate lab for commerce and also chemistry lab, physics lab . Also there is a seperate volleyball ground, football ground,and also has a gym and a table tennis room. Also it has a separate tennis court.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes they are very helpful and will surely help you a lot with your queries relating to any course, subject , activity, society etc. They will also help you in various others competitions and also telling about various teachers and the faculty
Admission
I took admission in 2018 in bachelor of commerce Hons through merit list. My admission was done in the 7 list . For admission you are required to carry all your necessary documents including 10,12 marksheets, character certificate, migration certificate, identify proof and also your passport size photos. Just remember that do not cancel your admission in your previous college until you are sure that it has come in another college.
Faculty
The faculty is very good helping and caring both. The taechers will help you out in every way possible. You just have to behave nicely with them. Also the teachers are very good at teaching and also there are various subjects which you can opt .
