I love my college the way it is. The canteen, the faculty, the seniors, the campus and my fellow students. My college has always stood out from various other colleges for discipline. It provides students a wide range of opportunities to succeed in all aspects.

My course is a course which is said to have no scope. But the faculty shows us various opportunities we as journalism students have. There is no too much of pressure on studies. Importance is given to studies as well as extra curriculum. We are given a lot of projects to do outdoor. The exams are conducted in a cycle pattern every month and semester exams at the end of the semester.

As a first year, my college has assured us of good placements and internships only in the third year. I am stepping in my second year and if I excel I may get a job along with a great salary and internships as well

Pongal is one of the main events celebrated in my college. The college harvests our own rice and distribute pongal. Diwali is another important festival celebrated with fun, Dance and devotional music. Various assemblies are conducted for other festivals like Christmas, Eid, Gandhi Jayanthi, Independence Day, republic day, etc,.

The fee structure is very feasible in comparison to other colleges. They offer scholarships through sports as well as for backward families. It is inexpensive and very nominal for all to afford. I haven't opted for any loan facility because it was very nominal

Sports quota- children who have acheived a good score or have a scope in any sport or have represented the city, state or nation for any sport are welcomed with open arms with a nominal fees in this college. Fees for the backward- families with a low income who cannot afford the fees are also welcomed by our college with loan facilities.

Labs for science students are equipped with almost every equipment required. Almost every sport is available in our college like basketball, table tennis, volley ball, football, hockey, etc. providing a wide platform for sportsmen. Extra caricukar activities like ncc, nss, entrepreneurship startups, etc. provide a lot of scope to Students. Culturals and the famous dgvc bazaar are notable.

I haven't opted for the hostel facility as there is no hostel in my college. The other students who aren't from here stay at hostels near my college. There are a lot of facilities available in and around my college.

My seniors are very helpful. They organise every event and also help us with the doubts we have. The alumni of our college come and give us a lecture on how we should go about with various activities, projects and tests.

I got admission through merit. We had a counselling session after which selected students with a specific cut off were taken in for admission. The students who were selected were then asked to pay the fees and admission was granted.

The faculty of my college are very helpful and are ever ready to help us whenever we need them or someone the most. My teacher is more of a friend than a faculty to me. Every teacher is student friendly. They keep classes lively and a fun place to be in.
