Overall impression about college is good. College management is looking into all small things about college activities and monitor and suggest corrections about any problems in day to day of college activities.

Entrance Preview

Pune University Entrance Exam. I scored 80 out of 100, i was getting admission in PICT i.e. Pune Institute of Computer Technology) and Sinhgad college of Engineering Pune. but the specialization in Pune Institute of Computer Technology is Microwave Engineering and in Sinhgad college of Engineering, Pune the specialization is VLSI & Embedded System. my research area is Embedded system so i choose Sinhgad college of Engineering, Pune for my admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

Its a Post-Graduation course so its curriculum is 2 year. We have 10 subject in first year,5 in both semester and second year we have a project stage I & project stage-II. Elective were Memory Technologies and Reconfigurable computing,fault tolerant system design and System on Chip.

Internships Opportunities

The companies coming for interns are Cognizant,Infosys,KPIT,capgemini but i was interested in Teaching fiels so i Joined as a Assistant Professor in Bharati Vidyappeth's College of Engineering for Women Pune.

Placement Experience

The companies coming for placement are Cognizant,Infosys,KPIT,capgemini most of the postgraduate students are from academic field so most of the student of our batch are working in different Engineering college.

College Events

College is organizing a technical Festival in first semester and non technical such as cultural event in 2nd semester. This event is sponsored by university as well as companies as well as media partners as well as some of the event sponsors.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible at our times we have 45000 rs fee per year for two years but later it was increased. Now currently all the colleges have fees more than 90000 rs per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Not aware about any scholarship but government itself giving full fee waived for SC,ST category students and 50% off for OBC students.

Campus Life

Sports ground is good extra curricular events cultural technical events are there. Robotics event is in Technical festival itself. Debates and MOCK placement interview is one of the event in Techfest.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is vast and senior students are approaching to college from their companies as well as academic institutes to give the feedback about what should be changes in curriculum as well as quality of students and improvements needed ans suggest about corrections.

Exam Structure

Post graduation course we have labs but not as hectic schedule it was quite interesting and learning experience. We enjoy the lab session as something we have really learned from the theory concepts.

Faculty

Faculty is good in their domain and they have vast experience and some faculties have knowledge about all domain like VLSI,Emebedded,wireless communication,Antenna and Electromagnetics. Standards is good because the college is accredited by NBA ( National

I applied for sinhgad college of engineering and on second MIT Pune in Pune as this 2 colleges provide chemical engineering . I got selected in the first college itself as per their required eligibility criteria and so i was fitted in that criteria and got selected their. Addmission was done through CAP centrallised Admission in that after getting selected in that college we need to pay rupees one thousand to freeze the seat to take the admission in that college. I choose this college for first as its fees was less than compared to MIT. And as we got admission through CAP we get scholarship and so we get 50 percent scholarship on college fees. SCOE Vadgaon is often considered one of the flagship institutions of the Sinhgad Technical Education Society (STES). First of all I choose Parul University for engineering in computer science but this college is so many far from my house my family is not ready to send me there.
