Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum designed by the university is quite up to date and contains the modern requirements to ace in the field of IT. The syllabus has made us ready to go out in the real world of IT and cement our place in the indistry
Placement Experience
Students become eligible since the 7th semester to appear for placements. TCS, Accenture, Godrej Infotech, Infosys, Nimap, Lti Mindtree are some of the best companies that have visited our college. The highest pachage received yet is 11LPA and on an average the packages range from 4-7 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fees ranges from 86800 to 800 depending upon the mode of admission of the candidate. Everything is all inclusive in the fee structure except the uniform and stationery fees. Each category is provided with scholarships through the University itself from 48000 to 86000. My batch mates have different fee structures of 48500,8800,800.
Campus Life
The campus life here is fantastic with state of the art sports facilities and other amenities for students to study and develop their multiple skills and talent along with academics. Student run clubs are multiple and well coordinated by the faculties to with events all round the calendar.
Admission
I applied to other engineering colleges in Mumbai but in the end went with DY Patil College as it was a great college as I had heard from my seniors which guarantees 100% placement guarantee and the placement record of our college is quite impeccable.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio here is 1:55. The faculty here is super nice and helpful and are always present for any queries and concerns of the hardworking students. Alpana Adsul(HOD) is my favourite faculty because she attends to the student's needs and has all the answers to our questions. The exams conducted are bi-quarterly and they are quite easy to ace.
Night Life
Libraries and cafeterias close off at 9pm in the night. The night life of our college and the surrounding areas is a little mild and not happening, boring even. As our college is in a remote area there are other amenities around like gyms food courts turfs, hostel and fun places to explore.
