Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is well set for students pursuing computer science. It prepares us pretty well for the real world applications. There could be some improvements in teaching methods such as elaborate practical explanations,etc.
Internships Opportunities
Never many companies which came for placement and offered in Internship as well. Some of them were Fendahl technology, TCS,etc. the range of stipend was between 8000 to 25,000. The roles offered were software engineer intern.
Placement Experience
Students in 7th semester start appearing for placement sessions and for internships. Many number of companies come and the highest package offered was 44 Lakhs and average package is 6 LPA. The roles offered were of software engineer.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fees was 2,70,000 and now it has increased to 2,80,000 and will be increasing gradually. There was an option to apply as Nagpur domicile and get discount in the fees but it is for limited students on first come first serve basis. Scholarships or money is awarded to toppers or students who do well academically.
Campus Life
There is a technical fest and a cultural fest in our college every year, which is named Enthusia. There are many books available in library of all types. There is AC and Wi-Fi available across campus. There are many sports and extra curricular events as well. There are many groups run by students and the student council body as well.
Admission
The eligibility of my college is through JEE or CET or their own exam which is SITEEE. Once you get selected you are called in the campus to discuss the admission process. I chose this college because of its good reputation and brand name.
Faculty
There are around 20 to 30 faculty members and around 800 students. The faculty are approachable. The faculties are knowledgeable and have good educational background. There are multiple CA exam in a semester and one mid term exam and one end sem exam, all of which are moderate level.
Night Life
There is a big mess area and cafeteria and small snack shops. There is a gym, basketball court, volleyball court, badminton court, table tennis, pool table, futsal,etc. it is safe to hang out at night as well.
