Entrance Preview
As the college is for B.E (Bachelor of Engineering) I have given MH-CET exam. I secured 112 marks out of 200. I love machine and to explore the more fundamental and advance knowledge about that I choose Mechanicals Engineering. And my friends also suggested for that.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college comes under Mumbai University so the course is designed by that only. And as far as faculty most of are B.E graduated and some are M.E but degree doesn't matter they always try their best to teach us and ready to help.
Internships Opportunities
For internship no company has come but we all students have tried and found some of the company which provide free internship (no stipend) like at Thermal power plant at Dahanu, Railway at santacruz, Honda at kurla etc.
Placement Experience
Till now only 10% of the students are get placed by campus interview in 2 years. Maximum package get is 2.5 lakh. Because our college is not that popular like VJTI, VERTAK etc. But we are trying our best to make our position in popular college.
College Events
The college organization many festivals mostly on technical side. TECHCHASE is organized by our college few day ago in which students of different branch (mechanical, computers, electrical, extc, civil ) organized different technical games. Most famous is "HITAISHI" which is annual festival by whole college in which other college students are also invited to participate. And sport days are also there to refresh our mind.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is provide by the college but some students have found that college trust provide 10% cash back on fee. Apart from that for CASTE student it will be fun always because of the low fees, very sad for the general category because the have to pay full fees which is around 85000 to 90000. But you can apply for loan on your responsibility college has no connection with that.
Campus Life
As it is engineering college so girls are less specially in mechanical ratio of girl vs boy is 1:15. But in other branch the ratio is good. Workshop is best for Mechanical. And the laboratory for other branches are also good and have enough setups for full engineering period. Most of the crowd is of Marathi but doesn't matter.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is not there because all the students are coming near by only i.e Vasai, borivali, andheri and some are from dahanu road. Hostel is not required actually because the college timing is 8:45 and all the students can come till that time. Food
Alumni/Alumna
One thing is missing in our college is ragging which good but bad also. Because we are not directly or indirectly interact with seniors. We mate some of the senior they said there was no equipment to perform experiment faculties was not good but changes occur while time passes.
