Cse core is the branch with highest average. You have to study yourself if you want to succeed. The curriculum is good but faculties are not very good. Course curriculum is fine, and teaching methods can be improved by being more interactive and not just reading ppt. Exams are easy and 2 exams per semester. You will have to score 9 cgpa for good placement though.

From 7th sem onwards students are eligible for placements. There are nearly a thousand company who visit vit. The placement is centralized as of now and offers are in the range of 10s of thousands. Average package is around 6 lakhs, highest varies from 40-50 lakhs. Nearly 70% students get placed. My plan is to do a job after degree.

Year wise tuition fee is 198000. Hostel charges depends upon the amount of bed in a room which ranges from 100000 to 200000 for ac/nac and includes mess charge which is nearly 75k a year. There is no quota for reserved category but you can get scholarship through entrance exam on tuition fee which ranges from category 1-5 and goes from 2lakhs per year to 59lakhs per year(tuition fee). The fee of other batchmates are also same except for mechanical and aerospace. Their tuition fee is 150000 per year, rest all same.

Name of annual fest is advitya held in feb every year. There are various other fest which happens every 2 months and are really good. The range of books in Library is decent. You can get almost most book which you will need and you can also get lightnovels and mangas. Classrooms are fitted with projectors. There is no ac in the classes and also no cameras. Attendance is taken orally. The campus offers wide variety of sports such as volleyball, basketball, football, kabbadi, cricket, badminton, table tennis, chess and a lot more. There are clubs like gdgc, photography club, music club which plays a significant role in improving campus life.

You will get a bed, a table, a chair, a mattress, and a cupboard. The rooms are equipped with fans, lights and ac(if opted). The rooms are spacious, cleaned every 2 days and a big window with nice ventilation. Quality of meal is better than most colleges in india. You can opt for veg, non veg, south or jain food. The prices is same for all Hostels are a bit on the pricier side.

I applied to pes university. But the fee there was too high and I couldn't afford it so I came to this college as my last option. You will have to give viteee exam to get this college. Admission process is seamless. If anything goes wrong, don't worry, they will fix it.

Faculty to student ratio is nearly 1:60. Some faculties I liked are kirankumar behera. He is a chill maths teacher. Monalisa Bhattacharjee. She is a beautiful english teacher who doesn't mind attendance issue. Some teachers which no one likes are hariharan he is very strict cs teacher who will make your semester a living hell There are 2 exams per semester. One mid term and one end term. Most of the students pass the exam but there are exceptions which are like 20%. Course is pretty relevant including topic like ai, ml, ds, cpp, python, oops from 1st year only.

There are 2 overcrowded boys gym and 1 girls gym. Caffes are opened from 8 o clock to 18 of clock. Library is open from 6 o clock to 20 o clock. Curfew starts for girls at 8 and for boys at 9. Famous hangout spots are mayuri caffe, underbelly, bistro caffe, ab dakshin caffe, mayuri 2. You cannot roam at night so no worry about locality.
