Course Curriculum Overview

Strong Foundation in Business and Finance curriculum designed to provide a balance theoritical knowledge and practical skill More practical exposure and Industry specific specializations The frequncy of exams are about 2 times in a year with getting harder with each semester

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 7820 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My yearly fees of college is about of first year is 6820 and in second year 7820 now i am in a third year and fees is about 9000 approx and it is increasing but even middle class person can pursue this courses in school of open learning

Campus Life

Cross roads, Mecca, Confluence and Aahvan this Annual festivals are held between January to march Academic books, Reference materials and Competitive exam books are available in the library No they have seperate rooms Yes Yes student runs many social groups at many social platform like Telegram whatsapp instagram etc group is for gamling at cricket sports and dating that made students financial and mentally distrubed

Admission

I only applied to this college and getting admission confirmed behalf my Schooling profile and this college has good academic reputation than others and I choose this college because since I am working it is allow me no attendance required for giving exams I mean classes is not necessary you can join classes online and the fees structure is better than other (Affordable) I did not applied in any other colleges except this so nothing went wrong The admission process is direct but the admission eligibiltiy is you need minimum 75 percent in your intermidiate exams as per the eligibility crietieria.

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio typically around 1:50 it ensures better interactions between students ralationship with teachers Faculty of commerce because of their interative teaching methods but the best faculties are faculty of technology Faculty of arts cause lack of practical exposure and outdated curriculum activities Seven exam are held in a semester and it is not that hard to clear the exams 95 percent of students will easily clear the exams and the course curriculum is relevant

Night Life

There are some cafeterias and public area which can not consider good nightlife around our college areas Hostel and campus timings are gross not good there was so many places like Hudson lane,Kamla Nagar market and locality is totally safe

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
