Average college in terms of placement

As the university is very old and established, the infrastructure is too old and it may be not fascinating to many of the students, but the university has a great rating among all the colleges in Faridabad. The placement in the university depends on the branch taken.

As per the electrical branch, each semester consists of 5-6 subjects and each semester contains 2 sessional after which there are final semester examinations. Also the electrical branch consists of a full day workshop that is a part of the curriculum. The workshop makes the students aware of the electrical equipments and how to use them.like motor windings, transformer windings, contractors, relays etc.

The university consists of a training and placement cell. This cell coordinates among students and the companies and provides them jobs and internships. The stipend of the companies during internship varies as per the company.

Culmyca. The cultural fest of the University.It is held every year and students of the University take part in the events. This fest lasts for 3 days and a guest appearance is, made by any star on the 3rd day, known as the star night. Hardy sandhu, Sharry Mann and many other stars have been invited for the College Fest. Also there is a technical fest in our university in which many students take part and present their new and innovative ideas.

As it is a govt University the fee structure of the university is very nominal. Its roughly about 30000 per semester which is affordable. At the admission time the fees is 40000 out of which 10000 Are the security deposit and are refundable. The middle class people can easily afford it. Also the university provides scholarship for the needy students.

Yes, the university provides scholarship to merititious students and those who are economically weaker. The scholarship and loan facilities can be checked on the university website itself namely www.ymcaust.ac.in.

The university has labs, and sports equipment that the students can avail during their free times. As per regards of extracurricular activities the university has certain clubs cultural and technical clubs and students can take part in the clubs of their interest. These clubs provide a great exposure to the students.

Yes, I have opted for hostel. Just like the university fee structure the hostel charges are also nominal. The hostel provides 24/7 water both for drinking and washing purpose, newspaper etc. The hostel also has a common room, gym and a TV room. The hostel also provides mess facility at a rate of 2500 per month exclusive od a 5 day rebate per month. The mess food isn't that upto the mark.

The seniors of the university are very helpful for us. They are willing to help the juniors and in many cases have been a saviour to many students. Be it about studies or anything else they always help us.

The admission in our university is on the basis of the air in jee mains. However for hgst and km the admission is on the basis of 12th board marks. So as I belong to the km (kashmiri migrants ) category, my admission was on the basis of my 12th marks.

The faculty of the college is well qualified. The teachers are helpful and willing to help students even in their free periods. As per the electrical branch, the faculty is strict but it is justified.
