Course Curriculum Overview
Since i liked elctrical so i choose electrical and electronics engineering. Though ccourse curriculum do not prepare fully for real world but gives insights how to deal with real word applications. Labs are good which provide some technical and practical knowledge. Timing and frequency of exam are well enough to be handledd. Overall course curriculum is good. For example along basic engineering su jects thera are also some other subjects like bio science, environmental science, chemistry which can help in future.
Internships Opportunities
Since i am the first year student in BIT mesea i dont have much idea about internships and its stipend and other projects. but heared from the seniors that companies visit and provide paid internship.
Placement Experience
Since i am the first year student at BIT mesra i dont have much information about placements. However from the seniors i know that mechanical branch has the best placement this year about 70-75% students get placed
Fees and Financial Aid
Total 1 year fee is 288000,development fee is 10000,institute exam fee is 7500,hostel room rent for each semester is 20000,mess fee vary from 20000 to 25000,outstading fee is 5000. On yhe time of admission 90000 was taken. College provide merit cum need scholarship.
Campus Life
Annual fest is BITOTSAV which take place in march , technical fest is PANTHEON which take place in November or december. Also varoius functions summit is organised in the camous. The library is big which provides every book which you need. There are many clubs like IEEE, EDC, rotaract, leo club, dance club, technical club like AVEON, srijan, and firebolt etc. We have a big ground which has a track of 400m. Badminton coutr, volleybaal court, gymnasium, basketball is pro ide i the sports complex
Admission
I do not apllied for any other colleges as BIT mesra was near my hometown. I don not get rjected from any college. The admission criteria of my cillege is JOSSA and CSAB. One must give JEE MAINS to do btech in this cillege. Most of the good students opt for CSE. Overall admission process was smooth in this college
Faculty
Faculties are good. We student can approach easily. Dr sushanta ghukhu whi teaches Basics of mechanical engineering in first semester is good teachee for me. There are two exams in one semester and in between thera are two quizs of 10 marks. 85-90% students clear the exams.
Night Life
Thera arw two gyms for students first gym is for Juniors which us not that much good othe one is for seniors which is good well air conditioned. There is no curfew timngs for boys but howevee girls have curfew timing after 9pm girls are not allowed to leave hostel. Best palce to hangout during day time is river, also thera are many places like student arena is chilling spot, since the campus is huge and green every place feels a good spot to visit and walk around.
