Course Curriculum Overview
I want to be forest officer so that is why I choose this courrse of Botany. They prepare us well for real world applications by taking us to practicals. Exams are held frequently, with also class tests every month.
Fees and Financial Aid
I had my admission as private even in government college. So, I had to pay ?7180 during admission time, and also I had to pay ?1250 as exam fees. I had to pay ?900 as promotion fees in 2nd Semester. There was aslo caste reservation system during the admission process. All the studens who did not have any income certificate of under ?300000 of annual family income, had to pay the same like me.
Campus Life
They held very few celebrations as those may distract the academic carrer of the students. They held Saraswati Puja, college week, freshers and farewell. The college library is stored with enough books required to the students to cover up their academic life. They offer indoor, outdoor, debates, etc during the college week, aslo cultural rally.
Admission
I had to choose this college as I did not have any choice due to financial issue. This college charge low fees that is good for the middle class people. I did not face any rejection, I had to cancel myself. The admission process is same just like the other government colleges. We have to registet online for application in the Samartg portal and the take offline admission in college.
Faculty
The faculties are quite good here. They are enough for the department and also student to faculties relationship is good and easily aproachable. A faculty, Dulumoni Sir, also the HOD, I like his teaching method and he explains very good and he is very friendly. There's no faculty I don't like. Three exams are held per semester, two sessionals with easy papers and one final.
Night Life
There is a free gym in the college campus and is open for all the students in the morning hours fro. 6 AM to 8:30 AM, sometimes in the evening hours too. There are two hostels inside the college campus, boys' and girls'. Both hostels are bonded with strict rules not allowing students to misbehave, also provides good food. There is limited places to hangout, college gallery. Locality is quite safe till 11 PM, after that, roads look deserted.
