Worth every second

Well the aspect which lead me to choose my course Are: It's a three years bachelor course Get to learn about the universe through equations Eligible for most of the government jobs after graduation The curriculum is designed in accordance with needs of this era The department of computer science require a lot of improvement

The admission fees is fairly reasonable and is more or less 5000 rupees. Students who are eligible for fee waver have to pay very less and sometimes none. The semester exam fees comes out to be merely 1200 rupees and may vary depending on the no. Of subjects and practicle they are having

Apart from academics Digboi college also excels in extra curricular activities Social Activities include bihu, matri bhasa divas, etc The annual college week begins in the second week of January, where students get to excercise their talents in many fied like cricket vollyball bedminton etc. The books in library is available in huge quantity, literally 9 out of 10 books that you can think of is available there There is a big ground which hosts cricket matches and football matches regularly ALSO science clubs debate clubs sports club give new environment to grow innovative ideas

I have chosen this college for many reasons one of them being the accomodation reason however this is not the only reason. Other reasons including the wide variety of course college provides , good learning environment , great NAAC review etc Some of the college that I applied to include Kanoi college, dibrugarh university, although I applied in both but ended in Digboi college Not because of rejection but for my personal preference The admission process is very simple and reqire relevant documents

The faculty members are very helpful and supportive. Students do not hesitate to approach the professors for help. Faculty of physics department is genuinely praise worthy, this i can say with my own experience as faculty members encourage students to give seminar, webinar etc. There are all total 6 semesters, passing all the semester is required for clearing the graduation. One other miscellaneous detail I would like to put forth is the college environment, it's really worth every second

The process of admission is very simple and require necessary details such as marksheet , address all these . No GD or written test were conducted the admission was soley based on higher secondary board exam results

College has a decent gymnasium attached with a medium size bedminton court. All the basic tools and dumbell are available There are two cafeteria in Digboi college and offer all basic facilities The college gallery is a wonderful place to hangout Talking of places outside campus, I would say peri peri a small hotels .
