Course Curriculum Overview

1

Soem subjects like fluid mech ,mass transfer and thermodynamics are good but the professors teaching them are not good at all . They are so cruel that they will set the final exam tough and the re exam even tougher, like what sense does it make .

Internships Opportunities

2

Internships are only for top 3 branches and for lower branches you barely get and opportunity . For us only ITC , Reliance and mondelez came for intern. Mostly internship is all about connects the person with the most connects will get internship opportunity and others wont .

Placement Experience

1

People become eligible for placemwnts from the 7th semester . Barely 8 to 9 companies visit for chemical engineering core . Highest package is 14 CTC and lowest is 7 CTC. PSUs alao visit the campus but dont expect to be selected if you are general . For chemical only 40 percent of students get placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees is around 66000 and hostel fees is currently 33000 earlier it was 40000 there is slight decrease . You will get a refund after each year from the hostel fees . Some hostels are good some are in bad condition.

Campus Life

4

We have aarohi, axis, consortium etc events which also have famous guests . Library is a great place . Good facilities in classroom. Sports and extracurricular activities are the best part of vnit. Prayaas is a social well fare group which does social work like blood donation etc.

Hostel Facilities

3

Study table ,two wardrobes and one bed is wha we are provided in wour hostel . Hostel food is decent it varies . It is affordable hostel you are paying around 33k and you get back 6k as mess refund so it is good enough .

Admission

I applied to this college because it had a good reputation that time and vnit does have good crowd. In josa rounds i got vnit in the csab round . Admission process was smooth and convenient. You have to clear jee with atleast 97 percentile to get into vnit chemical .

Faculty

2

There is 1 mid semester and 1 end semester . For chemical engineering most of the subjects are baseless they have no significance .some subjects are really difficult to clear the professor says he will keep atleast 25 percent of the class to repeat the course . It feels like they are teacher not to make students learn but to satisfy their ego.

Interview Experience

3

Group discussions have general topic like current affair trending topics and gwneraly easy to clear unless the company is biased for girls then if they dont speak then to they are accepted and boys after good discussion are rejected .

Night Life

4

Good night canteen, you might not get good varity of options but some what but still is a good place to hang out . Campus in time is around 10 30 for girls in time is 10 . Chandu canteen is night canteen open till 3 am .

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.
