- Teachers are very friendly and supportive unlike many other DU colleges
- There is a lot of opportunities if you wanna pursue theatre, they have yearly free of cost acting workshops by leading directors and they even cast you for their plays
Dislikes
- Infrastructure could use some help, there is an underconstriction of auditorium anf its still not completed
Course Curriculum Overview
The course followed is of regular DU syllabus, the curriculum is helped by the books suggested by our teachers, available in our library, the library is very very helpful btw. In my course the laboratories are quite amazing prepares you for the real world, the lab equipments could use some help, in my 1st year they weren't as good but now they have new and latest equipments which is a delight
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities related to physics are quite a lot all teachers have their research going on and students can be part of it to shine it later on their resume, you get to learn a lot by hands on experience Being part of the lab research is the best part about taking physics Hons
Placement Experience
I dont have much idea about the placements, i just know it happens with good students, mean package is around 3 to 4.5 LPA other than that students opt to go for masters as well by giving IIT JAM, CUET PG, JEST etc and some even go for UPSC. i am personally planning for masters from iit hopefully, percentage of students getting placed from my course is less
Fees and Financial Aid
19000 is the total fees for 1 year for BSc Physics Hons, if scholarship applied, it would only be applicable to tuition fees, category reservations are there for fees but i personally have no idea. There are financial aid for girls and SC/ST, and book aid as well for the needy
Campus Life
Campus life is amazing, societies are not much active nowadays but some are, our fest happens around this time, our college also organizes a theatre festival which is quite amazing, you can read about it online RJTF (rangsheersh jaidev theater festival), political clubs are quite active as well other than that many societies like filmmaking, photography, dance is really active rn, most active societies are theatre and dramatics
Admission
Other colleges i got Ramjas, Venkateshwar and Aryabhatta, out of all of them i found physics of this college the best according to my orientation and now after 1 year i can assure physics department of ARSD is better than others, admission process is quite simple, based on your CUET score and then counseling
Faculty
Faculty members are quite well behaved and supportive of you. Teachers specially really give you the personal attention among all. The canteen and other staff is amazing as well, we look forward to hang out with them during breaks
Interview Experience
Cuet scores are enough for your admission, otherwise YouTube has a lot of videos related to admission in DU. Just be careful while listing college preferences during counseling, you make a mistake there and will end up in the worst college So just be careful
Night Life
As there is no hostel, there is no night life, but yeah the canteen is amazing affordable and edible, safety is good compared to delhi safety standards Famous hangout spots are sandoz satya niketan Satya niketan market place is awesome, students live there in PG as well Library of the college is the best part of it
